To all whom it may concern Be it known that l, Eownm) Kinny sidinoat lillmira, in the county of Chemung and tate of New York, have'invented certain new and useful Improvements in SaleslBooks, of which the following isa full, clear, and exact description, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which'it upper tains to make and use the same.

This invention relates to sales books. One of the objects ofthis invention is to provide a simple and njactical form of sales book particularly a apted Another object is to provide an inexpen sive and self-contained sales book of the above character.

A further object is to provide a practical device adapted to hold a sales pad of any desired size and to permit of ready manipulation thereof.

Other objects will be in part obvious and in part pointed out hereinafter.

The irwention accordingly consists in thefeatures of constnuction, combinations! of elements and arrangement of parts which will be exemplified in the construction hcreinafter set fortlnsand thescope of the appli cation of which will be indicated inthe following claims. y I

In a device of the character described, in combination, a table, a casing countersunk in the surface of said table, a pad within said casing, said pad comprising a plurality of sets of original and duplicate leaves, the back of each original leaf being carbonized, and a means for holding said pad in position within said casing, said means acting as a support for the top set of leaves when being writ-ten upon.

11. In a device of the character described, in combination, a table, a casing countersunk in the surface thereof, a pad within said casing, and a cover therefor acting as a support for the leaves of the pad when being written upon, said cover being below the surface of the table.

In a device of the character described, in combination, a table, a casing countersunk in the surface thereof, a pad within said casing, and a cover therefor acting as a support for the leaves of the pad when being Written upon, said cover being hinged to said casing to permit the insertion of a new pad and being below the surface of the table to prevent mutilation of the top leaves when resting upon said cover. 13. lln a device of the character described, in combination, a table, a. rectangularcasing countersunk in the surface thereof, a movable bottom to said casing, spring pressed means tending to urge said bottom up wardly, a pad resting on said bottom within the casing, and a cover operatively con nected with said casing for holding said pad in proper position and n-oviding at one end an opening through which the leaves of the pad may be drawn, said leaves adapted to rest on said cover when being written upon.
