IMPRovBMENT IN TRUsAsns.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Paten@ and mking part of the same -I, THOMAS M. FELL, of' Glastonbury, in the county of Hart-ford and State of Connecticut., have invented in Improved Truss, of which the following is a specification.
Nature and Objects of the Invention.
My truss is an instrument for wearing on the human body, for the purpose of aibrcling relief and assistance in cases of rupture;4 and Theohject of the invent-ion is to produce a truss morev readily adj ust-able than any at present known.

Generl Description.

Claims.
I claim as my invent-ionv -1 l. The combination of the thumb-nut d, Working through thc part f, the pad-finger a., secured to the Apiece/i, which piece i is adj ustably secured to the part b hy the same screwwvhich secures the piece f2 2. A truss, having the pad g, adjustable back and 'v forth upon a pad-finger, d, pivoted to the pari; b, and governed by t-he screw e, substantially-ns described.
3. The combination ot' the pad g, attached to the y screw-pin o by a balland-socket joint, with Athe padinger d, the screw-pin o being adjustable in a slot in said pad-finger, substantially as shown Dated at Glastonbury this 20th day of January,
