The. object ot' the invention is to provide an exceedingly simple and eo-inpaet. construction, the various parts being so arranged that a majority of the razor parts may be easily assembled or separated z, t, Will. In the drawings, li`igure l is a perspe=ctire view of `the complete device assembled ready for use. 2 is a relatively enlarged plan rien' of the parts shown in Fig. Fig. 3 is a sect-ion on the line 3-3 of Fig. 2. Fig. 4 is a plan View of a detail of the traine plate. Fig. 5 a plan View et another detail of the guard plate. Fig. G
is a cross section on the line GWG. Fie". Q.
to an improved e, l represents the main body portion oi the frame plat having a centrally threaded orifice The ends of the traine plate are turned upward to forni side guide arms 3 3, the upper extremities ot said guide arnis being turned inwardly te torni blade keeper members 45t.
5 is a combined guard plate and blade support. The guard plate 5 provided with guard iingers G-6 at the t'ront, edge and with plain faced stop shoulders 7*? at the rear edge. The end-edges of said plate 5 are notched as at 8 8 to slide on the guide arms 3-3.
5)9 are forward stops on the plate 5 'arranged at each end ot the guard lingers l() is a blade which may be single or ldouble edged as'desired, said blade being ot appropriate width to stand between the` stop shoulders 1"*9 and otsuch length as to extend substantially over the full length of the supporting plate 5 bet-Ween the.

ll is a handle which has a screw threaded arranged to selen' into 'the threaded passage 2, the inner end ot' said extension l2 engaging the undersidevot' the supporting plate 5 to t'orce 'it upwardly sol as'to clanip the blade 10 betuf'een the plate 5 and the keepers if-1, as shown in ter securely with a tirin 'notched to slide on' l, 2, 3 and tl. The l ably bent. downward'y o inain bed-y l so that is provided, thus prete buckling tile blade and l" yet ela. n.. when the parts assembled. jrs i seen the handle t may be entirely re from the main body portion and the i @it the parts, thus making it easy to various parts of the razor in small By proyniling the screw threaded ente l2, the plate 5 nay be pressed ag underside of the blade "with any degree of tension. vWhen the handle unscrewed troni the Inair b L la G traine it is obgiois tha.' t tirely tree for inerenien" u* traine, a though not, entirely therefrom. .Tnis releases the bla that it may be readily asseinbl versed.
