In the drawings, Figure 1 is a longitudi- 2 is a detail view of one side of the bottle portion. Fig. 3 is a cross sectio-n, taken on the line mm in Fig.2. Figs. 4 and 5 are,- respectively, a side view and a plan view of thestopperr Figs. 6* and 7 ar, respect-ively, a side view and a longitudinal section I v through the nipple.
A is a bottle preferably provided with a fiat portion B on one side, and 5C is the neck One side of the neck is arranged in-line with the flat side B of the bottle.
D is a nippleof anyapproved construction and material which fits over the neck C, and which has a small outlet opening d.-
Specification of Letters Patent.
E is a stopper which is placed in the neck of the bottle, and which is provided with a flange or projection e which prevents it from being forced into the body of the bot tle. This stopper has a passage f formed at one side of it. This passage is preferably a V-shaped'notch, and its large portion is arrangedin line with the flat side of the bottle. The stopper is removed toclean the bottle, and when inserted'it regulates in a measure the flow of milk, but itdoes not prevent the bottle from being wholly emptied of its contents'by the child. The stopper is formed of india rubber orany other approved material.
What I claim is:
The combinatiomwith a bottle having one side of its neck arranged in line withone side of its body portion, of, a nipple .connected to the said neck, and a stopper arranged in the bottle neck. and provided with a projection at one end, said stopper being also provided with a V-shaped notch having its wide part arranged next to that side of the neck, which is in line with one side of the bottle.
