In the aerompanying drawings wherein is illustrated the. preferred form ot' my invention, the numerals 1 and 2 are applied to the ordinary cross tie and rail, in Connection with which my invention has been illustrated.
While my invention is to be used in conneetion with rail ties for the purpose of holding rails in place thereon, I desire it to be understood that the same may be applied in eonneetnn with other devices Without departingr it'rom the spirit. of my invention.
My invention consists of the ordinary lspike 3. which has formed thereon the ordlnary head portion i.
