. I, TnnMAs Q. HALL, of Indianapolis, in the county of Marion and State of Indiana, have' invented certain Improvements in Bedstends, of which the following,y is a. specification.

General Description.
A is the-head end, B the foot end, and G the side rails of the hedsteafd, which may beconstrncted in any approved manner, except that-,for the purpose of add ing 'the supplement, as herein proposed, I set the rails O into the cerner post, so that their lower edges shall be as much above thelower edge of the head and foot ends as isrequired for t-he supplementary bedstead composed of the henri und foot pieces D E and side' rails F, as shown in fig. 2.
