lw My invention may generally be described as being a wallet comprising a substantially tlat oblong sheet of suitable wallet material presenting a su crficial area having dimensions substantiaiiy in proportion to io the dimensions of the bank note that is folded on a longitudinal line to divide the bank note into two substantially equal divisions, said sheet of wallet material being foldablc u on itself along a transverse line, and a bant note holding wing joined with a longitudinal side portion of the sheet and located substantially upon one side of the ltransverse line of fold for the sheet.

In the preferred embodiment of my inio vention I employ two wings that are joined with the main wallet sheet, one being` located on cach side of the transverse line along which said sheet is foldable, these wings dosirably being joined with the o posite longitudinal edges of the wallet sieet so as to project in opposite directions and thereby operating to prevent the interfolded bank notes from becoming dislodged by their movement transversely of the wallet I will explain my invention more fully by reference to the accompan 'ing drawing Ishowing the preferred embo imcnt thereof and in which- .Figure 1 is a view of the preferred form of wallet with the wallet sheet laid flat, a bank note folded lengthwise to occupy substantially haltI its fu l area being shown by a dot and dash line where exposed to view and by a dotted line where concealed by one wing; Fig. 2 is a side elevation wit the wallet sheet. artially folded, the bank note being omitte for clearness; Fig. 3 is a view looking in the direction of arrow 3 Fig.

As the preferred embodiment. of my invention is shown I employ a substantially flat oblong sheet of suitable wallet material 5 which presents a superficial avea having dimensions substantially in proportion to the dimensions of a bank note (S or a thin pile of superposed bank notes when such ank note or ile of bank notesI is folded on a longitudina line to divide the bank note or notes into two substantially equal di visions. The sheet. of wallet material is foldable into two substantially equal divisions along a transverse line as indicated at 7, the bank note holding wings S being preferably entirely located on opposite sides of the line 7 to permit the ready folding of the wallet sheet, and projecting from opposite longitudinal sides of the wallet sheet in such opposite directions as to overlie the folded money and prevent dislodgment thereof by sidewise movement, one wing projecting between the fold layers of the bank note or notes and serving to separate them so that the place where the notes are to be unfolded and laid flat may readily be determined, while all of the bank note layers are interposed between the other wing and the wallet sheet. The wings are preferably separately formed and thereafter attached to the main wallet sheet, but I do not wish to be limited to wings separately made and thereafter joined as the wings may be joined with the wallet sheet by being made therewith out of an integral sheet of wallet material.

Having thus described my invention I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent the following:

1. A wallet comprising a rectangular sheet of suitable wallet material having a longitudinal dimension slightly longer than a bank-note, and a transverse dimension slightly greater than one-half the width of a bank-note and adapted to receive upon its upper face a plurality of bank-notes folded longitudinally, said rectangular sheet being rovided with a transverse folding line at. its middle, and having means located at one side thereof between the folding line and one end of the said sheet to retain the folded bank notes in position upon the sheet when the wallet is open.

2. A wallet comprising a rectangular sheet of suitable material having a longitudinal dimension slightly longer than a bank-iiote and a transverse dimension slightly greater than one-half the width of a bank-note, and adapted to receive upon its u per face a plurality of bank-notes folde longitudinally, said rectangular sheet being provided with u transverse folding line at its middle, and having means disposed on the op Josite sides of the sheet and on opposite si es of said folding line to embrace and retain in position bank-notes disposed on the sheet when the wallet is open'.

3. A wallet comprising a rectangular sheet. of suitable material havin a longitudinal dimension slightly longer tuin a bank-note and a transverse dimension slightly greater t-lian one-half the width of a bank-note, and ada ted to receive upon its upper face a plurality of bank-notes folded longiiiidinally, said rectangular sheet being provided with a transverse folding line at its middle. and having a wing on each side of the said sheet and on opposite sides of said 'folding line extending inwardly over the sheet and ada ted to embrace and retain in posiiion bunt-notes disposed on the sheet when the wallet is open.
