General Description.

In the drawings- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the several parts separated.

Figure 2, a vertical section of the same, connazted.

A is the boiler; 1

B, the steamer; and

O, the cover.

There is nothing peculiar about these parts, except that they are adapted to set oneinto another; and

the tube or passage, which conveys the steam or odor downward, is made in several sections, ac a, secured respectively to the several parts A B O, and, when connected, to likewise rest one within the other, like sections of stove-pipe.

The upper section extends horizontally from the top of the cover, while the lower section opens into a flaring band, I), which constitutes the rim \that sits upon the top of the stove.

The cover is adapted to fit either on top the steamer or the boiler, so that, when desired, the boiler may be used alone, with the same efl'ect. of producing a connection through the pipe or passageias when the steamer is employed.

I am aware that a passage or tube for conducting ofl the steam hasbefore been used in a boiler alone. I am also aware that the tube of the cover has made a joint with that of the boiler by simply fitting in. Such, broadly, I do not claim. My invention consists in combining with such an arrangement a steamer, as

herein described, which has never before been accomplished.

What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent as a new article of manufacture, is-

The combined boiler and steamer herein described, having the conducting-tube made in sections a a a, fitting one within the other, and the cover fitting both the steamer and boiler, as herein. set forth.
