To all whom .it may concm: Be it known that I, WILLIAM H. CUSH- .MAN, a citizen of the United States, and resident of'Taunton, in the county of Bristol and State ofMassachusetts, have invented certain new and Nestsof Drinking-Cups, of which the fol'- lowing is a specification'.

This invention has reference to a nest of drinking cups, lits object being to provide aplurality of uniform cups adapted to set closely -one .within the other, and to provide simple, inexpensive and yet eifective means for covering the top ofthe cups'and at the same time coupling and binding the whole together but without causing them to frictionally bind so as to render separation diilicult. Y

(With these and other objects in view, the 2U invention consists of lcertain novel'v features of construction, as will be more fully described and particularly pointed out in the appended claim. l In the accompanying drawings Figure 1-' is an external view of the nest of cups, covered and secured together by the coupling. One 'of' the features of the invention is that the coupling comprising the cap and vretaining ring cover `the opening in the upper 'cup and bind the vwhole together by engaging only vthe edges thereof, thereby causing the 'exterior of the lower'cup to form i a'casing for protecting those within..
