ochester. in the county ot Monroe and State ot eiv York, have invented certain nem' and useful Improvements in Foldable Display-Holders, of which the following is a specification.

5 Theobject, of the invention is to provide y a toldable holder, for various articles ot merchandise, having such novel and peculiar construction and arrangement of parts as to he t'olded fiat when not in use` and to be unfolded in suclrmanncr as to forni a plurality of open front. article holders for displaying the same.

A 'still further object of the invention is to provide a foldable holder for displaying articles of merchandise, such holder coniprising a back, and a. front having portions tifs-erect partially cut out, in a special main ner, saidportions beingr 'attached to the back, g forming terraced onstepped shelves;

furnish means for holding a display sample of such articles.

It will he seen that the space betweeathe back and front boards is divided into sepa.- rate and independent article receptacles, and' that the articles may be placed and removed at .either edge of the said boards, without displacing the display samples.

'It is obvious that the two boards are connected together b v attaching the iiaps or flanges 7 to the hack hoard so that the boards will overlap each other at the top les edges of the boards are in position eitherfor standing 1n easel form or for hanging.

The boards maybe adjusted so as to vary the space therebetween according to the size of the article or articles, or the number of the same contained. therein.

It will be understood that the display openings may he of any number, shape, and size desired or as occasion may demand; and that the `guards may .be of any number, shape and size desired.

I do not wish to be understood as limiting myself in the application ofthe invention, nor to-any particular articles of merchandise capable of being held therein for parposes of display and vending. l

A foldahle display holder for articles of mei.'':handise, comprising a hawk board, a front hoard, foldahle portions partially eut away from the front hoard and projecting inwardly from this board and attached to the back hoard` and a guard projecting from .the uncut edge of said portions into the openings left by such porthins.

front'board having display out outs therein, Y terraced supports formed by such cut' out together so as to form a plurality of terraced receptacles having open ends and an open front, and sample holding guards projecting from the front board into said eut outs.
