To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that. LGnonon F.-HARDING, acitizen of the United States, residing at Wurtsboro, in the county of Sullivan and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Signs; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.

This invention relates to new and useful improvements in signs, and more particularly to that class adapted to display any desired printed matter in front -of stores, disclosing information which might require a change from time to time.

An object of this invention is the provi sion of a sign support comprising a number of detachable sections, each having removably suspended therefrom a card, upon which is displayed any desired printed matter.

Another object of this invention is the provision of a device of this character, comprising comparatively few parts, each of which can be manufactured at the minimum cost.

With the above and other objects in view, this invention resides in the novel features of construction, formations, combinations and arrangements of parts to be hereinafter more fully described, claimed and illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which- Figure 1' is a perspective view of my invention; and Fig. 2 is a detail view illus- Eating a modified form of supporting mem- Referring to the drawings by characters of reference, my sign, eomprises a supporting member 2, to the opposite ends of which are secured sectional depending side members 3 and 4. 5, from which the device may be suspended, and at its oppositeends to produce a pair of loops 6, for a purpose to be hereafter disclosed, and depending forwardly extending hooks 7, for the reception of the sectional side members 3 and 4, each comprising links provided with inwardly and forwardly ex- 9 and 10, the said forwardly extending hooks adapted to engage the inwardly extending hooks of the links, both as clearly illustrated in the drawings. The hooks 7 and 10 are so constructed and held in placed relation to each other as to readily pass through apertures 11, formed at opposite ends of a any desired printed matter is displayed. A chain 13, provided at its opposite ends with hooks 14, engaging the loops 6, provides a means wherebythe device can be further suspended when desired.

From the foregoing it will be manifest that a sign is provided for which will fulfil ail the necessary requirements of such-a device.

A sign comprising a supporting member having forwardly directed hooks at its extremities a series of links dependirig from each of said hooks, each link having a forwardly directed hook at its lower end and an inwardly directed hook at its upper end engaged with the forwardly directed hook of the member above it, and a series of separate perforated sign boards suspended on the forwardly directed hooks of the supporting memberand the links, said boards serving to hold the opposite pair oflinks in spaced relation, substantially as described.
