The operation of the device is apparent, since the device is grasped in one hand and the thumb of the hand is placed upon either one of the buttons 80. The caps 15 and 18 are provided in the usual manner with. a plurality of apertures which are adapted toregister upon the rotation of the cap 18 to admit of the escape of the contents of the adjacent receptacle or holder. When the button 80 is released the spring 31 which is attached to the thumb lever-23 retracts the same and closes the caplS. In a similar manner the opposite holder 10 may be opened to admit of the escape of the pepper contained therein.

Having thus described the inventiom'what is claimed is:

l.
