The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making of the same I, JOHN BACHELDER,' of Norwich, county of New London, and State oi' Connecticut, have invented certain Improvements in Neck-Ties, of which the following is a, specification. i
My invention consists of an improved clamp for holding lthe supporting bond of :t neck-tie.
In the accompanying drawings- Figure 1 is a, perspective' view of a, clamp embodying my invention in position to grip and hohl at supporting band or the ends of' :t tie Figure 2, the same with spring compressed, allowing bund or ends of tie to be passed through freely;

When the spring is compressedby pressiugthe Shield between the thumb and finger ove-l' the pill'tinlosing the spring, the inner surfaces of the loops are sepornted, consequently freeing the baud or ends, and nl- 'lowing it or them to be adjusted or removed.
