My invention relates to improvements 1n hinges, the object of my invention being to construct a hinge especially designed for the doors of refrigerators andthe like, Whereinit is necessary to hold the door tightly against the refrigerator around the door opening so es to form e non-leaking joint between the -door and the. reatrigeretor .as required for the` economy of ice 'and the preservation of e uniform temperature fao within the refrigerator. y
