Abstract
The invention relates to food industry, in particular to obtaining a product of functional nutrition for the therapeutical and prophylactic use. A method provides for mixing the seeds isolated from grape pomace with ethyl alcohol, the extraction mixture is infused in hermetical conditions, then the extract is separated from the solid phase and ethyl alcohol is stripped under vacuum, after what invert sugar in a mixture with a stevia preparation is added at a ratio of 50:1 to a non-alcoholic polyphenol extract. The obtained food concentrate of grape polyphenols has higher antioxidant activity and hypoglycemic effect, what allows using thereof as a product of functional nutrition at disorders of the antioxidant balance of organism, in particular for treating and prophylaxis of diabetes of both the 1st and 2nd types.
