A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots has a feed conveyer, a roller cleaner, consisting of pairs of rollers, rotating concurrently, driving distributing brushes, a pile distributor and an unloading conveyer. The roller cleaner has a wavy shape in the cross-section and is arranged horizontally. In hollows thereof two driving brushes, made up by elastic rods are arranged with gaps. Said brushes carry out rotary motions directed inside of the roller cleaner. On sides of each end of the roller cleaner at angles guiding slatted conveyers are additionally mounted. The lower ends of said conveyers are arranged inside figured gutters, and the lower ends of the gutters are arranged above unloading conveyers.
