Преимущественно, гидрофобно модифицированные кремнийсодержащие полиамины являются пригодными для обработки алюмосиликатной накипи в трудноочищаемых промышленных технологических потоках, таких как технологические потоки в способе Байера по извлечению глинозема из бокситов, потоки радиоактивных отходов и вытекающие потоки, образующиеся при производстве крафт-бумаги.
