Abstract

A method of joining by welding billets of different materials, at which at least to one surface of billet of the metallic composite material in the area of joint a cladding layer from homogeneous material is applied, using which joining and welding with the billet of homogeneous material is carried out. For the purpose of reduction of material consumption of the joint and improvement of the quality the billet from metallic composite material after putting of cladding is bent in the direction of composite material. Then the bent back part is removed flush with homogeneous billet, the latter will be joined with the composite billet along bending radius of cladding layer. Welding is made from two sides.
