The invention relates to metallurgy of steels and alloys. A deoxidizing agent modifier for treatment of steels containing, by weight %: facing of aluminum alloys - 14-30, facing of titanium alloys - 6-15, facing of magnesium alloys - 3-15 and waste of iron-carbon alloys – is the rest. During the melt treatment with the developed deoxidizing agent modifier the sulfur content significantly reduced, the morphology of nonmetallic inclusions changed from the elongated to the rounded and simultaneously increased the mechanical properties such as tensile strength, percentage of elongation and impact strength.
