Abstract
Описана система і спосіб нанесення тривимірних об'ємних структур на довільно триангульовані поверхні. Для кожного полігона на полігональній поверхні створено двовимірний текстурний елемент і ці текстурні елементи об'єднано для утворення текстурного атласу. Для кожного текстурного атласу виділено певна кількість пам'яті в текстурному кеші. Кожний полігон на полігональній поверхні може бути скановано-конвертовано і одержані тексели можуть бути розміщені в текстурному кеші. Тексели, які не перетинають жодного полігону на полігональній поверхні, не можуть бути скановані-конвертовані. Спосіб дозволяє зменшити використання текстурного кеша.
