A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots consists of a main frame, a feed conveyer, a baffle brush, a heap cleaner, arranged in series, and of an unloading conveyer. Inside a driving hollow cone, arranged vertically and forwarded downwards by vertex thereof, a divider is mounted as the one arranged as a console above the main driving shaft with a flange at the end, whereon an additional shaft with a flange, between which inclined and horizontal rods are arranged in cylindrical hinges, is disposed movably in the axial direction. In doing so the additional shaft is kinematically connected to a driving mechanism of oscillatory movement in the direction of longitudinal axis, and between the flanges of the main and additional shafts a compression spring is arranged.
