The invention belongs to the medical field, in particular, to veterinary medicine and pharmacy, to drugs that are used externally for local disinfection and treatment of ixodid tick-borne borreliosis.
Ixodes tick-borne borreliosis is an infectious disease from the group of bacterial zoonoses, which is transmitted by ticks and is characterized by three stages of the course: the formation of ring-shaped erythema, the appearance after months or years of neurological disorders and heart failure, damage to large joints.
The natural reservoir and source of infection are wild animals (marsupials, rodents, birds), large and small cattle, dogs, cats. The way of transmission of the disease is transmissible, through tick bites.
During a tick bite, Borrelia enter the skin, where local erythema occurs later. Pathogens can persist in the body for years.
Визначений основний переносник борелій в Україні - лісовий європейський кліщ Іходев гісіпиє, який домінує, субдомінує або входить до числа основних на значних теренах |.Evidence of scurrying of natural foci of ixodid tick-borne borreliosis was obtained in Ukraine. The identified main vector of Borrelia in Ukraine is the European forest mite Ikhodev gisipiye, which is dominant, sub-dominant or among the main ones in large areas |.
(1-4).Clinically, the disease proceeds with a predominant lesion of the skin, nervous system, musculoskeletal system, heart and has a chronic and latent nature. Inflammatory and dystrophic changes occur in the affected organs (1-4).
Broad-spectrum antibiotics are used to treat the disease. Treatment lasts at least 10 days, sometimes repeated courses are prescribed. In some cases, after the appointment of antibiotics, there is a temporary exacerbation of the symptoms of the disease.
Individual means are used to prevent tick-borne borreliosis.
The search for new drugs with acaricidal action is important for the treatment of dangerous and especially dangerous infectious diseases.
