Abstract

The process for preparation of burning gases from coal by means of gasifying agent comprises gasification of powdered coal by oxygen or oxygen-containing gas or steam and/or carbon dioxide in one or few burners, supply of the obtained primary gas through the layer of coal boulders in bottom-up reflux flow with the formation of burning gas and molten slag. For the purpose of increasing of efficiency of the process at the expense of applying of heat of molten slag, it is collected in the bottom part of gasifier flux bath and derived from the flux bath by means of its discharge through the overflow rapids at free falling into the tank with cooling water.
