Abstract

A method of on-condition repair and modernization of an aircraft is characterized in that it includes its acceptance and dismantling, flaw detection and cleaning by fluid under pressure of chassis, assemblies, units and parts, the assembly of aircraft with mounting of modernized units and parts, and conducting of acceptance tests. In this case, thecleaning of assemblies, units and parts is made by jets of fluid under absolute air pressure for transport of the particles of medium 0.5 indicated... 0.55 MPa, during flaw detection of assemblies, units and parts is used nondestructive inspection, at which the cracks, microscopic cracks, surface porosity, rolls, undercuts and unsealed pores are identified by flaw detection with eddy currents, and the repair of revealed defects is performed by surfacing.
