Abstract

A process for the preparation of double lithium-nickel (II) diphosphate comprises the use of the melt of mechanical mixture of polycrystalline substances. The mechanical mixture of LiPOand NHHPOwith the corresponding mole ratio is ground in agate mortar to homogeneous state. The produced mechanical mixture is baked in platinum crucible. The melt is saturated at mixing by lithium fluoride LiF and held. Then the melt is saturated with nickel (II) oxide, held, mixed and crystallized by temperature decreasing. The produced red monocrystals of double diphosphate of LiNiPOare washed and dried at room temperature.
