Abstract

The solid dosage form of the melanin-containing medicinal preparation is disclosed. The melanin is isolated from the biomass of Cladosporium Cladosporioides 396. Besides melanin the following ingredients are included: the lactose, the potato starch, aerosil, calcium stearate monohydrate. The dosage form is prepared in several steps. The active substance is mixed with the potato starch. The mixture is soaked, granulated and dried. The dry granules are treated with the mixture of calcium stearate monohydrate and the starch. The treated granules are then pressed into the tablets. Melanin isolated from the biomass of Cladosporium Cladosporioides 396 represents the active substance. The sticky mass of the starch is prepared in advance. The soaking is performed simultaneously with mixing. Then the wet mixture is granulated. The wet granulate is dried and subjected to further granulation. The dry granules are treated with the mixture of aerosil and lactose. The mixture is soaked in the sticky aqueous mass of the starch, granulated and dried at 50-60°С.
