Abstract

The proposed induction-thermo-optical current converter contains a magnetic circuit with a winding, a short-circuited screen coupled with a pointer, and a measuring scale. In the converter, a ring-shaped magnetic circuit with an air gap is used. In the air gap, the short-circuited screen is installed that is designed as an extended plate. At one of the ends of the screen plate, an opening is made that is closed with a plate made of thermo-optical material and fitted to the screen. To the thermo-optical plate, a tube with a photoreceiver is fitted on the one side of the screen, and a tube with a photoreceptor is fitted on the other side of the screen. The centerlines of the photoreceiver and the photoreceptor coincide with the centerline of the opening in the screen plate.
