Abstract
Method for quantitative determination of sorbic acid includes sample preparation, its interaction with chemical reagent and measurement of intensity of fluorescence of solution. The sample undergoes interaction with standard solution of terbium chloride in presence of trioxylphosphinoxide (TOFO) and triton X-100 with measurement of intensity of fluorescence of terbium (III) by value of which one determines concentration of sorbic acid.
