Abstract

The invention relates to the medicine, namely to the ophthalmology and reflex therapy. The method for treating the patients with accommodation spasm provides for transcutaneous electric stimulation (using "phosphene" phenomenon) of paraorbital biologically active points for 10 days. Phosphene puncture is performed successively in each point (the area not exceeding 4 mm2) alternately to right and left eyes with the current amounting to the triple individual threshold of the electric sensitivity of each biological point with the pulse frequency of 20 Hz, the duration of pulse series of 45 s with 30-s interval. On Days 1-3, the biologically active points PC2 (A-Chzhun), PC6 (Yui-jao), PC7 (Yui-vei), V1 (Tsin-min), V2 (Tsuan-chzhu), IG18 (Tsuan-liao) are stimulated; on Days 4-6, the biologically active points VB1 (Tun-czy-liao), VB14 (Yan-bai), E1 (Chan-tsy), E2 (Sy-bai),TK23 (Sy-chzhu-kun) are stimulated; on Days 7-8 the biologically active points PC2, PC7, PC6 are stimulated. Finally, on Days 9-10, the biologically active points V1, V2, TR23 are stimulated.
