Abstract

The invention relates to medicine, and HMCHiio to psychiatry. The purpose of the invention is to accelerate the achievement of a therapeutic effect by conducting electrical stimulation of either the right or left hemisphere of the brain with the help of electrodes located unilaterally: the anode on the occipital mastoid area (behind the ear), the cathode on the frontal area. In order to achieve the asymmetry of electric actions, one or a pair of electrodes is turned off. It is possible to use eight positions of electrodes, a lateral pair of electrodes (right and left cathode and anode) or both frontal cathodes act, but one of the mastoid-distal anodes, or one of the frontal cathodes and both anodes behind the ear, or one frontal cathode and aiod after the ear on the opposite side. At the beginning of stimulation, by increasing the current strength, the sensory threshold is found by the first sensations of current, about which the patient reports. Pulse frequency 1 - 100 Hz. Duration of exposure is 7 --- 15 min. The session is held 1 time in 2--3 days. The number of sessions is 8-10. cl
