Субстанція напою передбачена для зберігання в порційній капсулі й для екстракції в порційній капсулі через текстильну підкладку за допомогою подаваної під тиском гарячої води. Субстанція напою виконана по суті у формі порошку, містить обсмажену, мелену каву. Текстильна підкладка має щільність щонайменше 100 г/м2.
