Abstract

Description
本發明涉及一種卡緣連接器及其組合,尤其涉及一種具有傾斜設置之卡緣連接器。
美國專利第US5,964,606號,其公開了一種傾斜卡緣連接器,其包括絕緣本體,所述絕緣本體包括沿縱長方向延伸之兩側壁、用於安裝至外部電路板之安裝面、連接兩側壁末端並沿垂直於兩側壁方向伸出之塔形部、以及由兩側壁與塔形部圍設形成之中央插槽,所述側壁與安裝面之間之夾角為銳角,所述塔形部具有與兩側壁直接連接之第一部分和位於塔形部自由末端之第二部分,沿垂直於中央插槽之方向上,所述第二部分之寬度小於第一部分之寬度相同。當兩傾斜卡緣連接器前後並列設置時,後面一卡緣連接器之第一部分位於前面一卡緣連接器之側邊凹陷空間內,惟,若想進一步壓縮前後兩卡緣連接器之間之間距,則會導致後面卡緣連接器之第一部分與前面卡緣連接器之第二部分干涉。
鑒於先前技術之上述缺陷,實有必要提供一種改進設計之卡緣連接器。
本發明所欲解決之技術問題在於:提供一種卡緣連接器,其能使得與另一卡緣連接器並列設置時之間距更小。
為解決上述問題,本發明可採用如下技術手段:一種卡緣連接器,其包括絕緣本體和鎖扣臂,所述絕緣本體包括沿縱長方向延伸之兩側壁、用於安裝至外部電路板之安裝面、連接兩側壁末端並沿垂直於兩側壁方向伸出之塔形部、以及由兩側壁與塔形部圍設形成之中央插槽,所述側壁與安裝面之間之夾角為銳角,所述側壁設有用於鎖扣臂可旋轉式地安裝之活動槽,所述塔形部具有與兩側壁直接連接之第一部分和位於塔形
部自由末端之第二部分,其中沿垂直於中央插槽之方向上,所述第二部分之寬度小於第一部分之寬度。
本發明所要解決之另一技術問題在於:提供一種上述卡緣連接器組合。
為解決上述問題,本發明可採用如下技術手段:一種卡緣連接器組合,其包括相互並排設置之兩卡緣連接器,每一卡緣連接器包括絕緣本體和鎖扣臂,所述絕緣本體包括沿縱長方向延伸之兩側壁、用於安裝至外部電路板之安裝面、連接兩側壁末端並沿垂直於兩側壁方向伸出之塔形部、以及由兩側壁與塔形部圍設形成之中央插槽,所述側壁與安裝面之間之夾角為銳角,所述側壁設有用於鎖扣臂可旋轉式地安裝之活動槽,所述塔形部具有與兩側壁直接連接之第一部分和位於塔形部自由末端之第二部分,其中沿垂直於中央插槽之方向上,所述第二部分之寬度小於第一部分之寬度,以方便一卡緣連接器之第二部分堆疊至另一卡緣連接器之第一部分而不干涉。
與先前技術相比,本發明具有如下功效:由於所述第二部分之寬度小於第一部分之寬度,進而避免本發明卡緣連接器與另一卡緣連接器前後並列設置時,第二部分可以於沿豎直方向堆疊於另一卡緣連接器,而不會相互干涉,從而減小了兩卡緣連接器於水平方向上之間距。

請一併參閱第一圖至第八圖,係本發明之第一實施例。一種卡緣連接器100包括絕緣本體1、複數導電端子2、兩絕緣定位塊3、絕緣蓋4、以及加強鉤6。
絕緣本體1包括沿縱長方向延伸之兩側壁11、用於安裝至外部電路板之安裝面12、連接兩側壁11末端並沿垂直於兩側壁11方向伸出之塔形部13、以及由兩側壁11與塔形部13圍設形成之中央插槽14。側壁11與安裝面12之間之夾角為銳角,通常這一銳角可以設置為25度。塔形部13設有用於鎖扣臂5可旋轉式地安裝之活動槽130,塔形部13具有與兩側壁11直接連接之第一部分131和位於塔形部13自由末端之第二部分132。請參閱第八圖,沿垂直於中央插槽14之方向上,所述第二部分131之寬度A小於第一部分132之寬度B。可結合參考第十四圖和第十五圖所示,卡緣連接器100用於將一記憶體模組800轉接至外部電路板900。第二部分132設有用於堆疊至另一卡緣連接器之底側壁133和相對底側壁133位於中央插槽14相反一側之頂側壁134,底側壁133相對第一部分131向中央插槽14凹陷。第二部分132之頂側壁134相對第一部分11之頂側壁114凹陷。絕緣本體1連接於兩塔形部13之間之前端面151和後端面152,每一側壁11設有沿記憶體模組插入方向貫穿前端面151和後端面152之端子槽153。側壁11包括面朝上之頂側面111和面朝下之底側面112。絕緣本體1

複數導電端子2分成兩排分別於中央插槽14之相反兩側之端子槽153中。每一導電端子2具有固定於相應側壁11上之基部21、自基部21朝一側延伸入中央插槽內之接觸部22、自基部21沿另一側延伸超出絕緣本體1之安裝部23、以及連接於基部21和安裝部23之間之延伸部24。兩排導電端子2之接觸部22於中央插槽14內對應設置,兩排端子2之安裝部23分成四排,用以降低絕緣本體1於縱長方向上之長度。於本實施例中安裝部23為沿豎直方向延伸,用以穿孔式(Through-hole)焊接至外部電路板900。
絕緣定位塊3用以限位導電端子2之安裝部23,以保證安裝部23之正位度。每一絕緣定位塊3分別安裝於一塔形部13和分割肋162之間,且與絕緣本體1相固定配合。每個定位塊3上設有四排沿縱長方向排列之通孔31,四排安裝部23分別向下穿過相應通孔31。
絕緣蓋4組裝固定至絕緣本體1和定位塊3,並將導電端子2之延伸部24蓋設於其內。絕緣蓋4之中間設有向前延伸用以卡扣至絕緣本體1之卡扣鉤41,絕緣蓋4之頂壁設有複數間隔設置之凸肋42,絕緣蓋4之底壁設有複數用於延伸部24插入之凹槽43。絕緣蓋4於縱長方向上之長度與絕緣本體1於縱長方向上之長度相同。請參閱第一圖,沿垂直於中央插槽14之方向上,塔形部13之頂側面高於絕緣本體1之頂側面111,絕緣蓋4與塔形部13相對之頂面44低於絕緣本體之頂側面111從而形成缺口空間,以便另一卡緣連接器沿豎直方向堆疊時,避讓另一卡緣連接器之塔形部。
請一併參閱第六圖至第七圖,鎖扣臂5具有本體部51、自本體部51一側延伸至中央插槽14內之抬起部52、以及自本體部51另一側延伸超出塔形部13之撥動部53。本體部51上設有轉軸54和止動塊55,轉軸54安裝至塔形部13於活動槽130內之轉軸孔135。撥動部53之內側設有凸起56,以提高抗震能力。當記憶體模組插入至中央插槽14抵壓到抬起部52時,鎖扣臂5繞轉軸54轉動,進而達成記憶體模組鎖扣到卡緣連接器。當想要退出記憶體模組時,只需要按壓撥動部,帶動鎖扣臂5繞轉軸54轉動,從而抬起部52抬起記憶體模組達成解鎖。
加強鉤6安裝於絕緣本體1之相反兩側,且向下延伸超出絕緣本體1,用以安裝至外部電路板時,增強卡緣連接器100之抓板力度。
請一併參閱第九圖至第十三圖,係本發明之第二實施例。第二實施例之鎖扣臂5’、絕緣定位塊3’、加強鉤6’、導電端子2’與第一實施例相同,就不詳細介紹。第二實施例之絕緣本體1’和絕緣蓋4’與第一實施例不同,其主要區別在於,第二實施例之絕緣蓋4’於縱長方向上之長度短於絕緣本體1’於縱長方向上之長度。絕緣蓋4’之長度與絕緣本體1’之側壁11’長度相同,從而絕緣蓋4’與塔形部13’形成一缺口空間45’。第二實施例中之缺口空間45’比第一實施例之缺口空間更大。相比第一實施例,絕緣蓋4’之相反兩側還設有用於卡扣配合至絕緣本體1之側扣鉤46’,絕緣本體1設有與側扣夠46’扣合之扣槽17’。與第一實施例一樣,所述第二部分132’之寬度小於第一部分131’之寬度。
請一併參閱第十四圖和第十五圖,缺口空間45’之設置和塔形部第二部分132’之寬度小於第一部分131’之寬度,可以使得兩卡緣連接器於前後方向並排和豎直方向上堆疊時,前後方向間距小和豎直方向上高度低。當然,第一實施例中之缺口空間設置和塔形部第二部分132之寬度小於第一部分131之寬度,也同樣能達成如是之功效。
請一併參閱第十六圖至第十九圖,係本發明之第三實施例,與第一實施例和第二實施例之主要不同在於,第一實施例和第二實施例中導電端子為穿孔焊結構,第三實施中導電端子2”為表面焊接式(SMT)結構,且第三實施例中無第一實施例和第二實施例中之絕緣定位塊結構,直接藉由絕緣蓋4”達成導電端子2”之限位,結構更加簡單。藉由導電端子2”係表面焊接式結構,導電端子2”之安裝部23”與安裝面12”相互平行設置,且上排導電端子2”之基部21”更加簡單。
如第二十圖為本發明之第四實施例,其與第一至第三實施例之不同在於,只有塔形部13'''之第二部分132'''之底側面相對第一部分131'''凹陷設置,塔形部13'''之第一部分131'''與第二部分132'''之頂側面完全重合,從而既可以避免與另一卡緣連接器堆疊時之干涉,又可以加強塔形部之強度。

- 如請求項1所述之卡緣連接器,其中,所述第二部分設有可堆疊至另一卡緣連接器之所述底側壁和相對底側壁位於中央插槽相反一側之頂側壁。
- 如請求項2所述之卡緣連接器,其中,所述第二部分之頂側壁相對第一部分之頂側壁凹陷或者平齊。
- 如請求項1所述之卡緣連接器,其中,所述卡緣連接器還包括固定於絕緣本體兩側壁之兩排導電端子,每一導電端子具有固定於絕緣本體之基部、自基部一端延伸超出絕緣本體之安裝部、以及自基部另一端延伸至中央插槽內之接觸部。
- 如請求項4所述之卡緣連接器,其中,所述卡緣連接器還包括組裝至絕緣本體上之絕緣蓋,每一導電端子具有位於基部和安裝部之間之延伸部,所述絕緣蓋設有延伸部收容之收容槽。
- 如請求項5所述之卡緣連接器,其中,所述絕緣蓋沿縱長方向上之長度與絕緣本體沿縱長方向上之長度相等,所述絕緣蓋與塔形部相對之頂面沿垂直於中央插槽之方向上低於絕緣本體之頂側面。
- 如請求項6所述之卡緣連接器,其中,所述絕緣蓋沿縱長方向上之長度小於絕緣本體沿縱長方向上之長度,所述絕緣蓋之末端設有用於固定至絕緣本體上之固定部。
- 如請求項1所述之卡緣連接器,其中,所述鎖扣臂具有本體部、自本體部一側延伸至中央插槽內之抬起部、以及自本體部另一側延伸超出塔形部之撥動部,所述撥動部之內側設有凸起,以提高抗震能力。
- 如請求項5所述之卡緣連接器,其中,所述卡緣連接器還包括用於延伸部穿過之絕緣定位塊,所述絕緣定位塊上設有四排通孔用於相應安裝部各自穿過。
- 一種卡緣連接器組合,其包括相互並排設置之兩卡緣連接器,每一卡緣連接器包括絕緣本體和鎖扣臂,所述絕緣本體包括沿縱長方向延伸之兩側壁、用於安裝至外部電路板之安裝面、連接兩側壁末端並沿垂直於兩側壁方向伸出之塔形部、以及由兩側壁與塔形部圍設形成之中央插槽,所述側壁與安裝面之間之夾角為銳角,所述側壁設有用於鎖扣臂可旋轉式地安裝之活動槽,所述塔形部具有與兩側壁直接連接之第一部分和位於塔形部自由末端之第二部分,其中沿垂直於中央插槽之方向上,所述第二部分之寬度小於第一部分之寬度,以方便一卡緣連接器之第二部分堆疊至另一卡緣連接器之第一部分而不干涉。
