Description

具電容負載之無線識別標籤
本發明係關於一種無線識別標籤,特別是一種具電容負載之無線識別標籤。
無線識別(RFID)標籤是直接貼附於商品上,所以在使用上會遭遇到諸多的問題。在習知技術中造成系統無法讀取到RFID標籤中的識別資料,如:金屬材質包裝之商品、內容物為液態之商品等;特別是金屬物品上的應用,由於金屬可視為良好的導體,對於電磁波而言為一完美的反射面,因此將RFID標籤貼附於金屬物時,往往造成訊號的干擾,使得靠近金屬物的天線無法有效接收與發射電磁波,造成系統有效讀取距離由數公尺縮減至1-2公分以內,甚至完全失效。
為將RFID技術應用於金屬物品上,如:汽車組件、貨櫃、工業設備等,習知技術中亦有開發出金屬物品專用的RFID標籤,但習知RFID標籤的體積過大、成本高昂,因此開發小尺寸、低成本的金屬專用之RFID標籤,仍是習知技術無法達到的目標。
另外,近來RFID技術的發展,已逐漸朝向逐一產品導向(item-level)的方向邁進,這使得RFID標籤的設計走向更小型化的需求。在習知item-level的RFID標籤設計中,其以提供所需之電感性阻抗(inductive reactance)為主,而此電感性的設計完全取決於電流迴路路徑的長短,因此受限於物理特性的限制,要設計出高電感性之標籤天線,則其尺寸便相對的比較大,故不易實現再縮小化的要求。
因此,有必要提供一創新且具進步性的具電容負載之無線識別標籤,以解決上述問題。
本發明提供一種具電容負載之無線識別(RFID)標籤,包括:一天線單元、一電容負載及一無線識別裝置。該天線單元包含二金屬片及一導電基板,該等金屬片位於該導電基板之上方相對位置且電性連接該導電基板。該電容負載電性連接該等金屬片。該無線識別裝置以電性連接該等金屬片或耦合的方式對該天線單元進行饋入。
本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤可以大幅降低操作頻率,因此可在相同天線單元尺寸下,獲得較高虛部阻抗,以縮小無線識別標籤之尺寸,並具有重量輕、製作容易且後續結構調整彈性大之功效。
圖1(a)-1(c)及1(a')-1(c')分別顯示本發明具電容負載之無線識別(RFID)標籤之第一實施例之二種態樣示意圖。其中,圖1(a)及1(a')為俯視圖;圖1(b)及1(b')為前視圖;圖1(c)及1(c')為右側視圖。以下各圖中,同樣以(a)及(a')標示俯視圖、(b)及(b')標示前視圖、(c)及(c')標示右側視圖。
參考圖1(a)-1(c),在本實施例中,該具電容負載之無線識別標籤1包括:一天線單元11、一電容負載12及一無線識別裝置13。該天線單元11包含二金屬片111及一導電基板112,該等金屬片111位於該導電基板112之上方相對位置且電性連接該導電基板112。
在本實施例中,該天線單元11另包含二導電部113,該等導電部113分別電性連接該等金屬片111及該導電基板112。該等導電部113可為為導電柱或導電片。每一金屬片111包含相對之一第一側邊114及一第二側邊115,該等金屬片111之第一側邊114係接近且相對,使得該等金屬片111間隔一距離。
在本實施例中,該等導電部113係為導電柱,該等導電柱分別靠近該等金屬片111之第二側邊115且位於該等金屬片111與該導電基板112之間(參考圖1(b)及1(c))。在其他應用中,該等導電部113可為導電片,該等導電片分別電性連接該等金屬片111之第二側邊115及該導電基板112之相對二側邊(參考圖1(b')及1(c'))。
在本實施例中,該電容負載12跨越該等第一側邊114並電性連接該等金屬片111,且該無線識別裝置13跨越該等第一側邊114並電性連接該等金屬片111。要注意的是,在其他應用中,該無線識別裝置13可包含一無線識別晶片131及一金屬帶132,該金屬帶132之二端連接該無線識別晶片131之二端以形成一迴圈結構,該無線識別裝置13設置於該等金屬片111間所形成之凹口110中,以耦合的方式對該天線單元11進行饋入(如圖2所示)。
或者,該無線識別裝置13可另包含一無線識別晶片133及二側翼金屬片134,該等側翼金屬片134設置於一介電墊材14之一表面,該無線識別晶片133電性連接該等側翼金屬片134,該無線識別裝置13間隔該介電墊材14且位於該等金屬片111之上方相對位置,以耦合的方式對該天線單元11進行饋入(如圖3所示)。
在圖1(a)-1(c)中,該電容負載12係為SMD(Surface Mount Device)電容器元件。要注意的是,該電容負載12可包含一負載介電材質121及一金屬層122,該負載介電材質121設置於該等金屬片111與該金屬層122之間(如圖4所示)。
或者,該電容負載12可另包括四第一延伸片123,每一第一延伸片123於靠近第一側邊114處連接金屬片111之一第三側邊116,並朝接近第二側邊115方向延伸且實質上平行第三側邊116。其中,每一金屬片111之相對二第三側邊116位於第一側邊114與第二側邊115之間(如圖5所示)。每一第一延伸片123與位於第三側邊116之部分金屬片111產生電容負載。
或者,該電容負載12可另包括二第二延伸片124,該等第二延伸片124位於該等金屬片111之相同一側,每一第二延伸片124於靠近第一側邊114處連接金屬片111之一第三側邊116,且實質上平行第三側邊116地朝接近第二側邊115方向延伸再折回朝接近第一側邊114方向延伸,又延伸至接近另一側之第二側邊115。該等第二延伸片124延伸交錯形成一指叉結構(如圖6所示)。
或者,該電容負載12可包括二第二延伸片124及二第三延伸片125,該等第三延伸片125及該等第二延伸片124設置於該等金屬片111之相對二側,每一第三延伸片125於靠近第一側邊114處連接金屬片111之一第三側邊116,且實質上平行第三側邊116地朝接近第二側邊115方向延伸再折回朝接近第一側邊114方向延伸,又延伸至接近另一側之第二側邊115。該等第二延伸片124及該等第三延伸片125各延伸交錯形成一指叉結構(如圖7所示)。
參考圖8(a)-8(c)及8(a')-8(c'),其分別顯示本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤之第二實施例之二種態樣示意圖。本實施例之具電容負載之無線識別標籤2與第一實施例之具電容負載之無線識別標籤1(圖7)大致相同,其不同處在於天線單元21之結構。在本實施例中,該天線單元21另包含至少一基板金屬層211及一基板介電材質212,該至少一基板金屬層211設置於該等金屬片111與該導電基板112之間,該基板介電材質212設置於該至少一基板金屬層211與該等金屬片111之間以及該至少一基板金屬層211與該導電基板112之間。其他與第一實施例之具電容負載之無線識別標籤1(圖7)相同部分係以相同元件符號表示,且在此不再加以贅述。
可理解的是,該天線單元21之導電部213係可為導電柱或導電片。該天線單元21亦可另包含如圖4、5或6所示之任一種電容負載12之結構。
本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤1、2可設計為具有UHF、2.45GHz或5.8GHz之頻段,在應用方面可設置於金屬材質產品之表面,進行金屬材質產品之管理(例如:庫存管理)。
圖9(a)顯示一無線識別標籤之阻抗特性圖;圖9(b)顯示一無線識別標籤之操作頻率圖。在圖9(a)中,無線識別標籤之操作頻率落在FcAnt (約1500MHz);在圖9(b)中,無線識別標籤之目標操作頻率落在FcTag (約930MHz)。本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤具有電容負載,可將其操作頻率大幅降低,使其操作頻率落在目標操作頻率FcTag
參考圖10,其顯示本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤與不具電容負載之無線識別標籤之阻抗特性比較圖。其中,虛線L1為本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤之實部阻抗曲線,實線L2為本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤之實部阻抗曲線;虛線L3為不具電容負載之無線識別標籤之實部阻抗曲線,實線L4為不具電容負載之無線識別標籤之實部阻抗曲線。
圖10顯示不具電容負載之無線識別標籤之虛部阻抗約為1000Ω,其操作頻率FcAnt 落在約1900MHz;圖10顯示本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤之虛部阻抗提高至約為1200Ω,且其操作頻率FcAnt_c 大幅降低至約980MHz。另外,比較虛線L1及虛線L3可知,本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤之實部阻抗亦高於不具電容負載之無線識別標籤之實部阻抗。
綜上所述,本發明具電容負載之無線識別標籤確實可以大幅降低操作頻率,因此可在相同天線單元尺寸下,獲得較高虛部阻抗,以縮小無線識別標籤之尺寸,並具有重量輕、製作容易(可直接以PCB製程大量生產)且後續結構調整彈性大之功效。
上述實施例僅為說明本發明之原理及其功效,並非限制本發明,因此習於此技術之人士對上述實施例進行修改及變化仍不脫本發明之精神。本發明之權利範圍應如後述之申請專利範圍所列。

Claims (15)

  1. 一種具電容負載之無線識別(RFID)標籤,包括:一天線單元,包含二金屬片及一導電基板,該等金屬片位於該導電基板之上方相對位置且電性連接該導電基板,每一金屬片包含相對之一第一側邊及一第二側邊和二相對之第三側邊,該等金屬片之第一側邊係接近且相對,每一金屬片之二第三側邊位於第一側邊與第二側邊之間;一電容負載,電性連接該等金屬片,該電容負載另包括二第二延伸片,該等第二延伸片位於該等金屬片之相同一側,且每一第二延伸片於靠近第一側邊處連接第三側邊;及一無線識別裝置,以電性連接該等金屬片或耦合的方式對該天線單元進行饋入。
  2. 如請求項1之無線識別標籤,其中該天線單元另包含二導電部,分別電性連接該等金屬片及該導電基板。
  3. 如請求項2之無線識別標籤,其中該等導電部係為導電柱或導電片。
  4. 如請求項3之無線識別標籤,其中該等導電柱分別靠近該等金屬片之第二側邊且位於該等金屬片與該導電基板之間。
  5. 如請求項3之無線識別標籤,其中該等導電片分別電性連接該等金屬片之第二側邊及該導電基板之相對二側邊。
  6. 如請求項1之無線識別標籤,其中該天線單元另包含至少一基板金屬層及一基板介電材質,該至少一基板金屬層設置於該等金屬片與該導電基板之間,該基板介電材質設置於該至少一基板金屬層與該等金屬片之間以及該至少一基板金屬層與該導電基板之間。
  7. 如請求項1之無線識別標籤,其中該等金屬片之間形成一凹口,該無線識別裝置另包含一無線識別晶片及一金屬帶,該金屬帶之二端連接該無線識別晶片之二端形成一迴圈結構,該無線識別裝置設置於該等金屬片間所形成之凹口中,以耦合的方式對該天線單元進行饋入。
  8. 如請求項1之無線識別標籤,另包括一介電墊材,該無線識別裝置另包含一無線識別晶片及二側翼金屬片,該等側翼金屬片設置於該介電墊材之一表面,該無線識別晶片電性連接該等側翼金屬片,該無線識別裝置間隔該介電墊材且位於該等金屬片之上方相對位置,以耦合的方式對該天線單元進行饋入。
  9. 3、6、7或8之無線識別標籤,其中該電容負載係為SMD(Surface Mount Device)電容器元件。
  10. 3、6、7或8之無線識別標籤,其中該電容負載包含一負載介電材質及一負載金屬層,該負載介電材質設置於該等金屬片與該負載金屬層之間。
  11. 3、6、7或8之無線識別標籤,其中該電容負載另包括四第一延伸片,每一第一延伸片於靠近第一側邊處連接第三側邊,並朝接近第二側邊方向延伸且實 質上平行第三側邊。
  12. 3、6、7或8之無線識別標籤,其中每一第二延伸片實質上平行第三側邊地朝接近第二側邊方向延伸再折回朝接近第一側邊方向延伸,該等第二延伸片延伸交錯形成一指叉結構。
  13. 如請求項12之無線識別標籤,其中該電容負載另包括二第三延伸片,該等第三延伸片及該等第二延伸片設置於該等金屬片之相對二側,每一第三延伸片於靠近第一側邊處連接第三側邊,且實質上平行第三側邊地朝接近第二側邊方向延伸再折回朝接近第一側邊方向延伸,該等第三延伸片延伸交錯形成一指叉結構。
  14. 如請求項1之無線識別標籤,其可應用於金屬材質產品之庫存管理。
  15. 如請求項1之無線識別標籤,其具有UHF、2.45GHz或5.8GHz之頻段。
