Description
本發明是有關於一種原冰片烯甲胺及其聚合物,特別是其側鏈上含有發光基團之原冰片烯甲胺及其聚合物。
烯類複分解反應(Olefin metathesis)是近年來頗受重視的碳-碳鍵之新合成方法。隨著各種新型觸媒開發,環烯類精密複分解聚合與非環二烯類及炔類的複分解聚合日趨重要。其中,以原冰片烯(Norbornene)衍生物進行開環複分解聚合反應(Ring-opening metathesis polymerization,ROMP)能合成越來越多種帶有各式官能基的高分子材料,因而成為重要的功能性高分子材料合成方法之一。
聚原冰片烯(polynorbornene)及其衍生物是第一個藉開環複分解聚合之商業化產品,為重要的工程塑膠之一。因其透明性良好,耐衝擊性佳,廣泛之溫度使用範圍,良好之機械物性,加工性,而廣泛用於橡膠添加劑、照明器具、機械、電子零件、管件或食品包裝等。此外,其衍生物如酸及酯類的聚合物更被當作電子產業的光阻劑。
有機金屬觸媒用於複分解聚合已有一段時日,但對於有官能基之單體在聚合時會有所限制,同時水份或氧氣的存在對聚合也相當敏感。例如鎢(W),鈦(Ti),鉬(Mo)及釕(Ru)等金屬化合物為較常用的環烯類精密複分解聚合觸媒,其中
釕金屬觸媒(Ru catalyst)對水份或氧氣的安定性(Stability)或相容度(Tolerance)較佳,甚至可於水溶液中進行聚合反應。例如,釕碳烯配位觸媒{Cl2

},對環烯類精密複分解聚合非常有效,尤其在空氣中還算安定,可進行具有官能基單體的聚合。
為了獲得更多種具有優異特性之高分子材料,對於含有官能基之原冰片烯衍生物之開環複分解聚合反應係值得進一步地研究。
本發明的目的在於提供一種側鏈含芘基之原冰片烯甲胺之聚合物,不僅具有上述之透明性、加工性、機械性質優異外,熱穩定性佳,含強烈螢光,可應用於螢光及發光材料上。
本發明的其他目的和優點可以從本發明所揭露的技術特徵中得到進一步的了解。
為達上述之一或部份或全部目的或是其他目的,本發明提供一種以通式(I)表示之含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物:
式(I)中,R=H或,n=2~1000以及,一種以通式(II)表示之含芘之原冰片烯甲胺:
式(II)中,R1=H或。
上述含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物係先利用原冰片烯甲胺與溴芘反應,以合成含芘之原冰片烯甲胺,其具有上述通
式(II),再利用此含芘之原冰片烯甲胺,來進行一聚合反應,以合成含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物,其具有上述之通式(I),並且對此含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物進行一氫化反應。上述聚合反應係為一開環複分解聚合反應,係以釕金屬為觸媒,並以乙基乙基醚來終止反應。
原冰片烯甲胺與溴芘係溶於無水甲苯中,並且加熱以進行一迴流反應。迴流反應後所得之生成物混合液,經過抽氣過濾、萃取及純化後,可以得到含芘之原冰片烯甲胺。
在一實施例中,此含芘之原冰片烯甲胺係包含二取代芘基,其所含元素之重量百分比為:碳90.89~91.74%;氫5.28~5.58%;以及氮2.52~2.67%。
在另一實施例中,此含芘之原冰片烯甲胺係包含單取代芘基,其所含元素之重量百分比為:碳88.56~89.13%;氫6.34~6.54%;以及氮4.21~4.33%。
本發明之實施例利用原冰片烯甲胺及不同莫耳數之1-溴芘,來合成側鏈含單取代芘或二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺,再利用開環複分解聚合得到側鏈含單取代芘或二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物,其經過氫化後所得之高分子材料,係適用於作為塑膠材料、黏合材料、感光材料、發光材料、螢光材料或光學材料之用途,可應用於製造液晶顯示器或軟性印刷電路板。
有關本發明之前述及其他技術內容、特點與功效,在以下配合參考圖式之一較佳實施例的詳細說明中,將可清楚的呈現。
本實施例係利用原冰片烯甲胺(norbornene methylene amine,NBMA)及1-溴芘(1-Bromopyrene),來合成側鏈含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺,此含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺,再經過開環複分解聚合反應而得到側鏈含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物。其中,原冰片烯甲胺係利用環戊二烯(Cyclopentadiene)與丙烯胺(Allyl amine)反應而得,1-溴芘係利用芘(Pyrene)與正溴丁二醯亞胺(N-Bromosuccinimide,NBS)反應而得,而環戊二烯係將二環戊二烯(Dicyclopentadiene)與對-苯二酚(Hydroquinone)進行熱裂解而得。詳細步驟說明如後:
一、環戊二烯之合成反應式(a1)及步驟如下:
將1莫耳的二環戊二烯與0.5克的對-苯二酚,在180℃常壓下進行熱裂解,蒸餾可得到環戊二烯。
二、原冰片烯甲胺之合成反應式(a2)及步驟如下:
(1).取50克環戊二烯與等當量數之丙烯胺及0.1克對-苯二酚,置於高壓反應器內,於180℃下反應8小時;(2).將前一步驟所得液體以旋轉濃縮機來除去未反應的環戊二烯和丙烯衍生物;以及(3).將前一步驟所得的溶液,減壓蒸餾而得原冰片烯甲胺,其蒸餾條件為54-56℃/11毫米汞柱。
三、1-溴芘之合成反應式(a3)及步驟如下:
(1).取一250毫升之反應瓶,加入0.0445莫耳芘及45毫升之無水二甲基甲醯胺(N,N-Dimethyl formamide),以磁石攪拌至完全溶解;(2).取0.0445莫耳正溴丁二醯亞胺溶於40毫升之無水二甲基甲醯胺(N,N-Dimethyl formamide),加入一等壓漏斗中,以每秒一滴之速率滴入前一步驟之反應瓶中;(3).用黑色塑膠袋將整個反應裝置包住,使其不受光線照射,在室溫下反應12小時;(4).反應完全後於水中沈澱;並且
(5).粗產物用正己烷(n-Hexane)再結晶純化可得純化後之1-溴芘(1-Bromopyrene)。
四、含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺之合成反應式(a4)及步驟如下:
(1).取一250毫升之反應瓶,加入10毫莫耳之1-溴芘(1-Bromopyrene),0.1毫莫耳之醋酸鈀[Palladium(II) acetate],7.5毫莫耳第三丁醇鈉(Sodium tert-butoxide),0.2毫莫耳三(第三丁基)磷(Tri-tert-butylphosphine),4.3毫莫耳原冰片烯甲胺(NBMA)及50毫升之無水甲苯(Toluene),以磁石均勻攪拌之。
(2).進行加熱至110℃之迴流反應,以薄膜層析法(Thin Layer Chromatography,TLC)確認反應程度直至反應完全。
(3).迴流反應所得之混合液經抽氣過濾後,再用旋轉蒸發來移除甲苯(Toluene),再用水(Water)及二氯甲烷(Dichloromethane)來進行萃取,取下層液,再用旋轉蒸發將溶劑移除得粗固體產物。
(4).上述粗固體產物係利用管柱層析法純化,展液比為二氯甲烷(Dichloromethane):正己烷(n-Hexane)=1:3,純化後得
淡綠色螢光固體之含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺(NBEDIPY),其熔點為155℃。
另外,所得到的含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺,將以核磁共振光譜(Nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum,NMR spectrum)的1
H-NMR分析(如圖1)和13
C-NMR(如圖2)分析,並以傅立葉轉換紅外線光譜(Fourier transform infrared,FTIR)以及元素分析來進行鑑定(如圖3)。

N:C,91.74%;H,5.58%;N,2.67%。測量值:C,90.89%;H,5.28%.N,2.52%。根據元素分析之理論值及測量值,含二取代芘之原冰片烯甲胺,其所含元素之重量百分比之可能範圍為:碳90.89~91.74%;氫5.28~5.58%;以及氮2.52~2.67%。
五、利用開環複分解聚合(Ring-Opening Metathesis Polymerization)合成含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物[Poly(NBEDIPY)],其合成反應式(a5)及步驟如下:
(1).取0.911毫莫耳含二取代芘基之原冰片烯發光(NBEDIPY)溶於3毫升二氯甲烷(Dichloromethane),並置於超高真空反應瓶中,接上高真空系統,冷凍-抽真空-解凍,重複循環三次,利用真空幫浦將反應瓶內的空氣抽除後,再以火焰槍或瓦斯噴槍熔封;
(2).在通氬氣(Argon)的乾燥手套箱(Glove box)中,7.5毫克取釕金屬觸媒(Grubbs’s catalyst),溶於0.2毫升二氯甲烷(Dichloromethane)中,以針筒注入反應瓶中;(3).觸媒注入後,在35℃下反應2小時;(4).加入0.1毫升乙基乙烯基醚(Ethyl vinyl ether)終止聚合反應,將溶液於通入氮氣(Nitrogen)之500毫升甲醇(Methanol)中沈澱析出,取出乾燥;並且(5).將聚合物溶於四氫呋喃(Tetrahydrofuran,THF)中,再沈澱於甲醇(Methanol)中,重複三次,接著將精製之聚合物溶於苯(Benzene)中,於室溫下進行冷凍乾燥,即可得到含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物[Poly(NBEDIPY)]。

請參照圖6,含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物在四氫呋喃溶液下之紫外光(UV)最大吸收波長為394nm,光致螢光(photoluminescence,PL)最大吸收波長為504 nm;而固態下UV最大吸收波長為400及386 nm,PL最大吸收波長為498 nm。
請參照圖7,在空氣(Air)下用熱重分析儀(TGA)測量含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物[Poly(NBEDIPY)],其之10%熱裂解溫度為389℃,而在氮氣(Nitrogen,N2
)下其之10%熱裂解溫度則為398℃;同時其在氮氣流速10 c.c./min下所測得之玻璃轉移溫度為253℃。
請參照圖8,為利用循環伏安法(cyclic voltammetry,CV)所測得之含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物之電化學特性。加入環戊二烯基鐵(ferrocene)和環戊二烯基鐵離子(ferrocenenium)後,在接近真空環境下,其氧化電位相當於4.8電子伏特(eV),我們大約可以計算出此共軛高分子的最高佔有分子軌域(highest occupied molecular orbital,HOMO)之能階。因此,最低空的分子軌域(lowest unoccupied molecular orbital,LUMO)可被以下的公式計算出:LUMO=HOMO+Eg。在四氫呋喃下,含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物的最高佔有分子軌域(HOMO)以及最低空的分子軌域(LUMO)
之數值,分別被計算出-5.1和-2.37電子伏特(eV)
六、含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物之氫化反應及步驟如下:
(1).取1.07毫莫耳含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物[Poly(NBEDIPY)],1.45克(7.8毫莫耳)對-甲苯磺醯基醯肼(p-Toluenesulfon hydrazide)、0.03克2,6-二-三級丁基-4-甲基酚(2,6-Di-tert-butyl-4-methylphenol)和20毫升二甲苯(Xylene)溶劑放入鞍瓶內,利用真空系統進行冷凍-抽真空-封管-解凍循環,並重複四次。
(2).反應於120℃下進行12小時。
(3).冷卻至室溫,將反應溶液倒入大量甲醇(Methanol)中,可得到氫化後含二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物[Poly(HNBEDIPY)]。
本實施例係運用原冰片烯甲胺及與實施例一不同莫耳數之1-溴芘合成側鏈含單取代芘之原冰片烯甲胺,再利用開環複分解聚合來得到側鏈含單取代芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物。其中,原冰片烯甲胺係利用反應式(a2)製得,而環戊二烯係利用反應式(a1)製得,在本實施例中不再贅述,其餘步驟詳細說明如後:
一、含單取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺之合成反應式(a6)及步驟如下:
(1).取一500毫升之反應瓶,加入10毫莫耳之溴芘(Bromopyrene),0.1毫莫耳之醋酸鈀[Palladium(II) acetate],7.5毫莫耳第三丁醇鈉(Sodium tert-butoxide),0.2毫莫耳三(第三丁基)磷(Tri-tert-butylphosphine),11.5毫莫耳原冰片烯甲胺(NBMA)及50毫升之無水甲苯(Toluene),以磁石均勻攪拌之。
(2).進行加熱至110℃之迴流反應,以薄膜層析法(Thin Layer Chromatography,TLC)確認反應程度直至反應完全。
(3).迴流反應後之混合液經抽氣過濾後,再用旋轉蒸發來移除甲苯(Toluene),再用水(Water)及二氯甲烷(Dichloromethane)進行萃取,取下層液,再用旋轉蒸發將溶劑移除得粗固體產物。
(4).利用管柱層析法純化,展液比為二氯甲烷(Dichloromethane):正己烷(n-Hexane)=1:3,純化後得黃色固體之含芘之原冰片烯甲胺(NBMPYA),其熔點為104℃。
二、利用開環複分解聚合(Ring-Opening Metathesis Polymerization)合成含單取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物[Poly(NBEMPY)],其合成反應式(a7)如下:
反應式(a7)除使用之單體為含單取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺外,其餘步驟與合成二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物[Poly(NBEDIPY)]相同。
三、含單取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物之氫化反應:
除所使用之聚合物為含單取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物外,其餘步驟與合成氫化後二取代芘基之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物相同。
另外,所得到的含單取代芘之原冰片烯甲胺,將以核磁共振光譜(Nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum,NMR spectrum)的1
H-NMR分析(如圖8)和13
C-NMR分析(如圖9)、
傅立葉轉換紅外線光譜(Fourier transform infrared,FTIR)以及元素分析來進行鑑定。

根據上述實施例製成的側鏈含單取代芘或二取代芘基等發光基團之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物,其經過氫化後可以得到具有優良的透明性、光學特性、加工性、機械特性,熱穩定性,並且含強烈螢光之高分子材料,而將可以應用於半導體工業、精密機械工業領域中,用以作為軟性印刷電路板、液晶顯示器等電子產品中,作為高性能工程塑料、感光材料、發光材料、黏合劑、螢光材料或光學材料使用。
惟以上所述者,僅為本發明之較佳實施例而已,當不能以此限定本發明實施之範圍,即大凡依本發明申請專利範圍及發明說明內容所作之簡單的等效變化與修飾,皆仍屬本發明專利涵蓋之範圍內。另外本發明的任一實施例或申請專利範圍不須達成本發明所揭露之全部目的或優點或特點。此外,摘要部分和標題僅是用來輔助專利文件搜尋之用,並非用來限制本發明之權利範圍。

Claims (10)
- 一種以通式(I)表示之含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物:
- 一種以通式(II)表示之含芘之原冰片烯甲胺:
- 一種含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物之製造方法,包括:利用原冰片烯甲胺與溴芘反應,以合成含芘之原冰片烯甲胺,其具有如申請專利範圍第2項所述之通式(II);以及利用該含芘之原冰片烯甲胺,進行一開環複分解聚合反應,以合成含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物,其具有如申請專利範圍第1項所述之通式(I),其中該開環複分解聚合反應係以釕金屬為觸媒,並以乙基乙基醚來終止反應。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之製造方法,更包括:對該含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物進行一氫化反應。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之製造方法,其中該溴芘係為1-溴芘。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之製造方法,其中該原冰片烯甲胺與該溴芘係溶於無水甲苯中,並將其加熱以進行一迴流反應。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之製造方法,其中該迴流反應後所得之生成物混合液,係經抽氣過濾、萃取及純化後,而得到該含芘之原冰片烯甲胺。
- 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之製造方法,其中該含芘之原冰片烯甲胺係包含二取代芘基,並且所含元素之重量百分比包括:碳90.89~91.74%;氫5.28~5.58%;以及氮2.52~2.67%。
- 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之製造方法,其中該含芘之原冰片烯甲胺係包含單取代芘基,並且所含元素之重量百分比包括:碳88.56~89.13%;氫6.34~6.54%;以及氮4.21~4.33%。
- 如申請專利範圍第3項所述之製造方法,其中該含芘之原冰片烯甲胺聚合物係溶於四氫呋喃中,再沈澱於甲醇中精製純化。
