1251109 五、發明說明(1) ------ [發明領域] 本發明係有關於—種液晶顯示器(liquid crystal display,LCD)的結構,且特別是有關於一種能夠在正、 反面板上顯示資料之雙面顯示(dual display)之液晶顯示 [習知技術說明] 目岫,由於液晶顯示器的低消耗電功率、輕薄短小以 及低電壓驅動等的優點特徵,液晶顯示器已經廣泛地應用 在個人數位助理(PDA )以及行動電話等行動通訊產品的 示螢幕中。 然而隨著時代的進步,很多產品需要在顯示螢幕的 正、反兩面上顯示資料。例如在事面上許多摺疊式手機 (folder type mobile phone)的外罩内、外側上各具有— 液晶顯不榮幕。 由於習知在製造此類產品時,均需使用兩個獨立之液 晶顯示器,用來分別顯示正、反雨面的資料,因而習知方 法必須使用兩套電子裝置來驅動上述兩個獨立的液晶顯示 器’結果不僅使得成本提高,也使產品的厚度增加,而不' 符合輕薄短小的產品潮流。 [發明概述]
