Abstract
表裏両面にデータを表示するデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造と、一つの液晶層だけを備えたデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造と、透過モードと反射モードとを備えたデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造とを提供する。
【解決手段】
第1ディスプレイ・エリアと第2ディスプレイ・エリアとを備え、前記第1ディスプレイ・エリアと前記第2ディスプレイ・エリアは、それぞれ少なくとも1つ以上のディスプレイを含んでおり、第1基板と、前記第1基板の上に形成される画素電極パターンと、前記第1基板と向かい合う第2基板と、前記第2ディスプレイ・エリアの前記第2基板の片側に形成される反射層と、前記第2基板及び前記反射層の上に形成されるカラーフィルタと、前記カラーフィルタの上に形成される共通電極と、前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に形成される液晶層と、前記第1基板の外側に設置される発光装置とを少なくとも備えるようにする。

Claims (6)
- 第1ディスプレイ・エリアと第2ディスプレイ・エリアとを備え、
前記第1ディスプレイ・エリアと前記第2ディスプレイ・エリアは、それぞれ少なくとも1つ以上のディスプレイを含んでおり、
第1基板と、
前記第1基板の上に形成される画素電極パターンと、
前記第1基板と向かい合う第2基板と、
前記第2ディスプレイ・エリアの前記第2基板の片側に形成される反射層と、
前記第2基板及び前記反射層の上に形成されるカラーフィルタと、
前記カラーフィルタの上に形成される共通電極と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板との間に形成される液晶層と、
前記第1基板の外側に設置される発光装置と、
を少なくとも備えていることを特徴とするデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造。 - 前記画素電極パターンと前記共通電極の材質は、インジウムスズ酸化物(ITO)或いはインジウム亜鉛酸化物(IZO)である請求項1に記載のデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造。
- 前記発光装置は、前記第1ディスプレイ・エリアの中に設置され、或いは、前記第1ディスプレイ・エリア及び前記第2ディスプレイ・エリアの中に同時に設置される請求項1に記載のデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造。
- 前記第1ディスプレイ・エリアの中にある前記液晶ディスプレイの構造は、透過型液晶ディスプレイの構造であり、前記第2ディスプレイ・エリアの中にある前記液晶ディスプレイの構造は、反射型液晶ディスプレイの構造である請求項1に記載のデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造。
- 前記第1ディスプレイ・エリアと前記第2ディスプレイ・エリアは、隣接する、或いは、隣接していないようになっている請求項1に記載のデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造。
- 前記反射層は、前記第2基板の内側或いは外側に選択的に形成される請求項1に記載のデュアル・ディスプレイの液晶ディスプレイの構造。
