Abstract

Provided is an antistatic coating composition which has excellent adherence to plastic substrates and may form a coating film having excellent water resistance, electrical conductivity and transparency. A conductive polymer produced by poly (3,4-di-substitued thiophene) and polyanion, an aqueous compound which is liquid at an ordinary temperature and has amido or hydroxy group, and a self-emulsifiable polyester resin dispersing element are mixed in a specific ratio. The resulting composition forms a coating film having excellent adherence, transparency, electrical conductivity, solvent resistance and especially water resistance. When it is mixed with an alkoxysilane having epoxy group in a specific amount, the resulting coating film may have further improved water resistance and solvent resistance.
