Abstract
To make garbage disposal machine installable both indoors and outdoors and to improve treatment efficiency by cutting materials to be treated, feeding these materials into a drum body of which only the main body is freely rotatable and subjecting the materials to be treated to oxidation decomposition by aerobic bacterial while crushing the materials to be treated with a revolving shaft which has blades and is arranged in parallel with the central shaft of the drum. The materials to be treated, such as garbage, previously cut to suitable sizes and the materials to accelerate the composting thereof are fed into a hopper 27. The drum body 7 and a spiral screw member are rotated for a prescribed time at every specified time intervals to transport the cut materials to be treated into the drum, where the materials to be treated are rotated together with the drum body 7. At this time, the materials to be treated are crushed by the blades B of the revolving shaft S and are gradually transported toward a discharge port side. Air is supplied to the materials to be treated which are taken into the drum, where the composting is progressed by a slow biological combustion system. The materials to be treated are discharged through a discharge pipe 19 while the materials are composted by the rotation of the drum body 7 and the action of the blades B.
