Abstract
A method of treating domestic waste; in which the domestic waste is crushed to sizes smaller than 1000 mm in a pre-crushing machine (13), and introduced to a pyrolysis reactor (2) where it is pyrolyzed at 500 to 600℃; the pyrolysis gas is dedusted in an oil quencher; a portion of the pyrolyzed gas is introduced into a combustion chamber (6) where it is burnt at 1050 to 1250℃, the rest of the dedusted and pyrolyzed gas is introduced into a KSMF-type melting furnace (1) at 1350 to 1400℃; the hot gas having a temperature of 1050 to 1200℃ in the combustion chamber (6) is introduced into the pyrolysis reactor (2) to heat the pyrolysis gas, exhaust gas from heating the pyrolysis reactor and pyrolysis coke cooled in a coke cooler (7) and separated from a metal-containing material by a metal separator (8) are introduced into the melting furnace (1).
