Abstract

A sort of scooter-type vehicle, comprizing a footrest floor supported at a lower position ahead of a seat, a parcel compartment formed in a rear body of the vehicle under the seat, and a swing power unit having at least a forward end accommodated below the parcel compartment, characterized inthat a spark plug is mounted on the forward end of the swing power unit so as to look forwardly, the swing power unit is angled with respect to the footrest floor to that an extension line of the spark plug intersects the footrest floow from below, a through-hole for allowing a maintenance tool for the spark plug to be inserted therethrough is formed at a place where the extension line of the spark plug intersects the footrest floor, an upwardly opened electronics compartment for housing electronics is formed adjacently to the through-hole in the footrest floor, and a service lid is detachably mounted for tightly covering both the electronics compartment and the through-hole.
