Abstract

Motorcycle/scooter-type vehicle formed by a foot rest floor supported in a lower position in front of a seat, a parcel compartment formed in the rear body work of the vehicle under the seat, and an oscillating power unit which has at least one front end housed under the parcel compartment, characterized in that a spark plug is mounted at the front end of the oscillating power unit such that it faces forwards, the power unit being inclined with respect to the foot rest floor such that a line of extension of the spark plug intersects the foot rest floor underneath, and a through-hole, to permit insertion of a tool for maintaining the spark plug, has been formed in a position where the line of extension of the spark plug intersects the foot rest floor, an upwardly-open electronics compartment for housing electronic circuits having been formed next to the through-hole in the foot rest floor and a service cover being mounted releasably in order hermetically to cover the electronics compartment and the through-hole.
