Abstract
Combustion gas containing more unburnt gases at an upstream in moving direction of materials to be incinerated and a combustion gas at a downstream in a moving direction of the materials branched by a barrier wall disposed near an exit of a combustion chamber are passed between the barrier wall and a furnace wall of the combustion chamber, and joined at the back of the barrier wall, thereby colliding and mixing both of the combustion gases at the upstream and the downstream. The ratio of the flow rate F1 of the downstream combustion gas in a flow channel of the downstream combustion gas between the barrier wall and the furnace wall of the combustion chamber relative to the flow rate F2 of the upstream combustion gas in a flow channel of the upward combustion gas between the barrier wall and the furnace wall of the combustion chamber is defined within a range of F1:F2=8:2-5.5:4.5.
