Abstract

A shower unit or bathtub screen which comprises a frame for supporting glass material to assemble into at least one panel in which the panel is installed on and slide along the wall material of the frame pivotally installed through an intermediate material in such a way that the panel can be supported on one side of the bathtub and located at a lower position or the panel can be elevated to a higher position followed by lowering to above the faucet of the bathtub, the screen is equipped with a device for assisting the elevation operation in which the device comprises a spring fixed on the wall material which can be compressed between a stay element and a first adjacent element which are separately supported by the intermediate material and the wall material so that the spring can apply a pressure upward to the intermediate material which is slightly larger than the weight of the panel, in which the screen is equipped with multiple devices so that when the screen is located at the lower position the devices will divert the spring pressure, which is generated from the stay element supported by the intermediate material, toward a second adjacent element supported by the wall material.
