Abstract

一種電連接器及其製作方法,包括絕緣本體、兩排端子、導電塑膠橋及遮蔽板,所述絕緣本體包括舌板及腔體,兩排所述端子固定在所述絕緣本體且分別裸露在所述舌板的兩相對表面,每一排所述端子包括多個訊號端子及多個接地端子,所述接地端子局部裸露在所述腔體;所述導電塑膠橋收容在所述腔體內且一一電性連接所述接地端子,所述遮蔽板埋設在所述導電塑膠橋內且位於兩排所述端子之間。本發明的導電塑膠橋內增設遮蔽板,降低遠端串音,提供高頻高速連接器的電氣性能。

Description

電連接器及其製作方法
本發明涉及一種電連接器及其製作方法。
美國發明專利公開第2021/0050683號揭示了一種電連接器,其包括本體及兩排端子,本體設有相對的側壁及位於側壁之間的空腔,兩排端子設置在空腔中,並臨近所述的側壁。兩個端子模組及共振減幅裝置均容納在空腔中,共振減幅裝置位於兩排端子之間,共振減幅裝置設置有的凸肋與本體的凹槽配合,從而將共振減幅裝置固定在本體中,並抵接在接地端子。美國專利發明專利第10,777,921號也揭示了一種導電塑膠。然後該等共振減幅裝置、導電塑膠在實際產品上仍存在問題。
故,針對上述問題,需要設計一種新的電連接器,以解決上述缺陷。
本發明所要解決的技術問題在於提供一種電連接器及其製作方法,其能改善高頻高速訊號傳輸的電氣性能。
為解決上述技術問題,本發明可採用如下技術方案:一種電連接器,包括絕緣本體、兩排端子、導電塑膠橋及遮蔽板,所述絕緣本體包括舌板及腔體,兩排所述端子固定在所述絕緣本體且分別裸露在所述舌板的兩相對表面,每一排所述端子包括多個訊號端子及多個接地端子,所述接地端子局部裸露在所述腔體;其中,所述導電塑膠橋收容在所述腔體內且一一電性連接所述接地端子,所述遮蔽板埋設在所述導電塑膠橋內且位於兩排所述端子之間。
為解決上述技術問題,本發明可採用如下另一種技術方案:一種電連接器的製作方法,所述製作方法包括:步驟一:注塑成型第一端子模組及第二端子模組,每一端子模組包括絕緣體及一排端子;步驟二:組裝所述第一、第二端子模組及一遮蔽板,組裝後的第一、第二端子模組之間形成腔體,所述遮蔽板位於腔體內;步驟三:向所述腔體內注入導電塑膠材料,所述導電塑膠膠包裹所述遮蔽板並一一抵接在每排所述端子中的接地端子。
為解決上述技術問題,本發明可採用如下另一種技術方案:一種電連接器的製作方法,所述製作方法包括:步驟一:注塑成型一導電塑膠橋,所述導電塑膠橋內埋設有遮蔽板;步驟二:在所述導電塑膠橋的外側注塑成型有絕緣體,兩排端子埋設在所述絕緣體內,所述導電塑膠橋一一抵接在每排所述端子中的接地端子。
與習知技術相比,本發明的導電塑膠橋內增設遮蔽板,降低遠端串音,提供高頻高速連接器的電氣性能。
參圖1-8所示,本發明電連接器100用來傳輸高頻訊號傳輸,為我司開發的低構型FPIO連接器,所述電連接器100包括絕緣本體20、兩排端子30,導電塑膠橋40及遮蔽板50,絕緣本體20包括舌板22及腔體24,兩排端子30固定在絕緣本體20,且裸露在舌板22的兩相對表面221。導電塑膠橋40收容在腔體24內(參圖5-6所示),遮蔽板50由金屬板製造而成,且埋設在導電塑膠橋40內。每一排的端子包括多個訊號端子32及多個接地端子34,接地端子34部分裸露在腔體24內,如此,位於腔體24內的導電塑膠橋40則一一電性連接所述接地端子34。遮蔽板50設有多個焊接腳或接腳部52,接腳部52焊接於電路板的通孔,從而改善遠端串音(FEXT,Far End Cross-Talk)性能。
所述電連接器100進一步包括殼部28,殼部28包圍絕緣本體20,金屬板彎折製成的外殼29包圍所述殼部28,從而形成整個電連接器100。殼部28與絕緣本體20之間設有一些固持結構,比如固持肋261與固持孔281等。外殼29與殼部28之間設有一些固持結構,比如倒刺,耳部等。訊號端子32一般兩兩組成一對差分對端子,用來傳輸差分訊號。
所述導電塑膠橋40具有兩排分支部42,分支部42為自中間基部41向兩側凸出的凸肋,所述凸肋沿上下方向延伸,朝對應的接地端子34凸出,從而抵接於接地端子而達成電性連接。訊號端子與接地端子均為blade端子,即非彈性端子或者平板端子,每一端子包括裸露在舌板22表面221的接觸部、延伸出絕緣本體的接腳部,及連接兩者並埋在絕緣本體內的中間部。比如,每一接地端子34具有接觸部341,接觸部3411具有裸露於舌板表面221的接觸面3411,相對的,接地端子具有背對接觸面3411的背面3412,接地端子的背面3412則裸露在腔體24內。在本實施例中,接地端子的接觸部341長於訊號端子的接觸部,寬度也大於訊號端子的寬度。導電塑膠40具有上表面402,其與接地端子的上末端大致平齊,從而提升訊號的傳輸性能,比如,起到完整的訊號遮蔽作用,避免訊號干擾。本實施例中,電連接器100包括第一端子模組20a及第二端子模組20b結構,其結構大致相同,絕緣塑膠材料通過注塑成型的方式注塑於一排端子30,從而形成端子模組,端子模組包括一排端子30及絕緣體21,兩端子模組的絕緣體21的一部分形成舌板22,從圖5-6可以看出,腔體24形成在兩絕緣體21的背面,且從舌板22開始延伸至絕緣體的底面,方便導電塑膠從絕緣體21的底面注入。第一、第二端子模組20a、20b再通過組裝的方式固定在一起,比如其背面設有彼此配合的定位孔212及定位柱211,可以看出,接地端子的背面裸露在腔體24,而所述的訊號端子32則埋設在絕緣體21內,並未裸露在腔體24內。
請特別參圖8,在第一、第二端子模組製成後,遮蔽板50可以先組裝在其中一端子模組,比如第一端子模組上,然後第二端子模組再組裝在第一端子模組,此時,第一、第二端子模組之間形成腔體24,遮蔽板50位於腔體24內。然後將導電塑膠材料注入腔體24內,待冷卻後,導電塑膠橋40包裹著遮蔽板50,同時導電塑膠橋的分支部42一一抵接在對應的接地端子34。
參圖7所示,電連接器100中,遮蔽板50也可以先成型在導電塑膠橋40內。兩排端子30先初步定位在導電塑膠橋40,然後絕緣體21再成型在導電塑膠橋40及端子30的外側。遮蔽板50設置有多個衝壓孔54,包括兩排大孔541,一排小孔542,大孔在上下方向上對齊,小孔則偏移一定距離,方便導電塑膠材橋40成型在所述遮蔽板50上。額外增加的遮蔽板50,可以提供導電塑膠橋的抗訊號干擾能力。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種電連接器,包括絕緣本體、兩排端子、導電塑膠橋及遮蔽板,所述絕緣本體包括舌板及腔體,兩排所述端子固定在所述絕緣本體且分別裸露在所述舌板的兩個相對表面,每一排所述端子包括多個訊號端子及多個接地端子,所述接地端子局部裸露在所述腔體;其中:所述導電塑膠橋收容在所述腔體內且一一電性連接所述接地端子,所述遮蔽板埋設在所述導電塑膠橋內且位於兩排所述端子之間。
  2. 如請求項1所述的電連接器,其中,所述遮蔽板設有多個衝壓孔。
  3. 如請求項2所述的電連接器,其中,所述衝壓孔包括兩排大孔及一排小孔,所述大孔沿上下方向上對齊,所述小孔在偏移所述大孔。
  4. 如請求項1所述的電連接器,其中,所述遮蔽板的下緣延伸出多個接腳部,所述接腳部延伸出所述腔體。
  5. 如請求項1所述的電連接器,其中,所述端子包括平板狀的接觸部,接觸部具有裸露在所述舌板表面的接觸面,所述接地端子的相對接觸面的背面則裸露在所述腔體內,所述訊號端子的背面則埋設在所述絕緣本體內而未裸露於所述腔體;所述導電塑膠橋包括中間基部及自所述中間基部凸伸的多個分支部,所述分支部為上下延伸的凸肋結構,所述凸肋結構抵接在所述接地端子的背面。
  6. 如請求項5所述的電連接器,其中,所述導電塑膠橋的頂面與接地端子的上末端平齊。
  7. 一種電連接器的製作方法,所述製作方法包括:步驟一:注塑成型第一端子模組及第二端子模組,每一端子模組包括絕緣體及一排端子;步驟二:組裝所述第一、第二端子模組及一個遮蔽板,組裝後的第一、第二端子模組之間形成腔體,所述遮蔽板位於腔體內;步驟三:向所述腔體內注入導電塑膠材料,所述導電塑膠包裹所述遮蔽板並一一抵接在每排所述端子中的接地端子。
  8. 如請求項7所述的製作方法,其中,在步驟二中,所述第一、第二模組彼此組裝而形成所述腔體,所述遮蔽板再安裝入所述腔體內。
  9. 如請求項7所述的製作方法,其中,在步驟二中,所述遮蔽板先組裝在所述第一端子模組,然後第二端子模組再組裝至所述第一端子模組。
  10. 一種電連接器的製作方法,所述製作方法包括:步驟一:注塑成型一導電塑膠橋,所述導電塑膠橋內埋設有遮蔽板;步驟二:在所述導電塑膠橋的外側注塑成型絕緣體,兩排端子埋設在所述絕緣體內,所述導電塑膠橋一一抵接在每排所述端子中的接地端子。
