一种电连接器及其制造方法,包括绝缘本体、两排端子、导电塑胶桥及遮蔽板,所述绝缘本体包括舌板及腔体,两排所述端子固定在所述绝缘本体且分别裸露在所述舌板的两个相对表面,每一排所述端子包括多个信号端子及多个接地端子,所述接地端子局部裸露在所述腔体;所述导电塑胶桥收容在所述腔体内且一一电性连接所述接地端子,所述遮蔽板埋设在所述导电塑胶桥内且位于两排所述端子之间。本发明的导电塑胶桥内增设遮蔽板,降低远端串音,提供高频高速连接器的电气性能。

Description

电连接器及其制造方法
【技术领域】
本发明涉及一种电连接器及其制造方法。
【背景技术】
美国发明专利公开第2021/0050683号揭示了一种电连接器,其包括本体及两排端子,本体设有相对的侧壁及位于侧壁之间的空腔,两排端子设置在空腔中,并临近所述的侧壁。两个端子模组及共振减幅装置均容纳在空腔中,共振减幅装置位于两排端子之间,共振减幅装置设置有的凸肋与本体的凹槽配合,从而将共振减幅装置固定在本体中,并抵接在接地端子。美国专利发明专利第10,777,921号也揭示了一种导电塑胶。然后该等共振减幅装置、导电塑胶在实际产品上仍存在问题。
综上,确有必要对现有的电连接器进行改进。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于:提供一种电连接器及其制造方法,其能改善高频高速信号传输的电气性能。
为了解决上述技术问题,本发明的技术方案如下:一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体、两排端子、导电塑胶桥及遮蔽板,所述绝缘本体包括舌板及腔体,两排所述端子固定在所述绝缘本体且分别裸露在所述舌板的两个相对表面,每一排所述端子包括多个信号端子及多个接地端子,所述接地端子局部裸露在所述腔体;所述导电塑胶桥收容在所述腔体内且一一电性连接多个所述接地端子,所述遮蔽板埋设在所述导电塑胶桥内且位于两排所述端子之间。
本发明的另一技术方案如下:一种电连接器的制造方法,所述制造方法包括:步骤一:注塑成型第一端子模组及第二端子模组,每一端子模组包括绝缘体及一排端子;步骤二:组装所述第一、第二端子模组及一个遮蔽板,组装后的第一、第二端子模组之间形成腔体,所述遮蔽板位于腔体内;步骤三:向所述腔体内注入导电塑胶材料,所述导电塑胶胶包裹所述遮蔽板并一一抵接在每排所述端子中的接地端子。
本发明的另一技术方案如下:一种电连接器的制造方法,所述制造方法包括:步骤一:注塑成型一个导电塑胶桥,所述导电塑胶桥内埋设有遮蔽板;步骤二:在所述导电塑胶桥的外侧注塑成型有绝缘体,两排端子埋设在所述绝缘体内,所述导电塑胶桥一一抵接在每排所述端子中的接地端子。
与现有技术相比,本发明的导电塑胶桥内增设遮蔽板,降低远端串音,提供高频高速连接器的电气性能。

【具体实施方式】
参图1-8所示,本发明电连接器100用来传输高频信号传输,为我司开发的低构型FPIO连接器,所述电连接器100包括绝缘本体20、两排端子30,导电塑胶桥40及遮蔽板50,绝缘本体20包括舌板22及腔体24,两排端子30固定在绝缘本体20,且裸露在舌板22的两个相对表面221。导电塑胶桥40收容在腔体24内(参图5-6所示),遮蔽板50由金属板制造而成,且埋设在导电塑胶桥40内。每一排的端子包括多个信号端子32及多个接地端子34,接地端子34部分裸露在腔体24内,如此,位于腔体24内的导电塑胶桥40则一一电性连接所述接地端子34。遮蔽板50设有多个焊接脚或接脚部52,接脚部52焊接于电路板的通孔,从而改善远端串音(FEXT,Far End Cross-Talk)性能。
所述电连接器100进一步包括壳部28,壳部28包围绝缘本体20,金属板弯折制成的外壳29包围所述壳部28,从而形成整个电连接器100。壳部28与绝缘本体20之间设有一些固持结构,比如固持肋261与固持孔281等。外壳29与壳部28之间设有一些固持结构,比如倒刺,耳部等。信号端子32一般两两组成一对差分对端子,用来传输差分信号。
所述导电塑胶桥40具有两排分支部42,分支部42为自中间基部41向两侧凸出的凸肋,凸肋沿上下方向延伸,朝对应的接地端子34凸出,从而抵接于接地端子而达成电性连接。信号端子与接地端子均为blade端子,即非弹性端子或者平板端子,每一端子包括裸露在舌板表面的接触部、延伸出绝缘本体的接脚部,及连接两者并埋在绝缘本体内的中间部。比如,每一接地端子34具有接触部341,接触部具有裸露于舌板表面221的接触面3411,相对的,接地端子具有背对接触面3411的背面3412,接地端子的背面3412则裸露在腔体24内。在本实施例中,接地端子的接触部341长于信号端子的接触部,宽度也大于信号端子的宽度。导电塑胶40具有上表面402,其与接地端子的上末端大致平齐,从而提升信号的传输性能,比如,起到完整的信号屏蔽作用,避免信号干扰。本实施例中,电连接器100包括第一端子模组20a及第二端子模组20b结构,其结构大致相同,绝缘塑胶材料通过注塑成型的方式注塑于一排端子30,从而形成端子模组,端子模组包括一排端子30及绝缘体21,两个端子模组的绝缘体21的一部分形成舌板22,从图5-6可以看出,腔体24形成在两个绝缘体21的背面,且从舌板开始延伸至绝缘体的底面,方便导电塑胶从绝缘体21的底面注入。第一、第二端子模组20a、20b再通过组装的方式固定在一起,比如其背面设有彼此配合的定位孔212及定位柱211,可以看出,接地端子的背面裸露在腔体,而所述的信号端子32则埋设在绝缘体21内,并未裸露在腔体24内。
请特别参图8,在第一、第二端子模组制成后,遮蔽板50可以先组装在其中一个端子模组,比如第一端子模组上,然后第二端子模组再组装在第一端子模组,此时,第一、第二端子模组之间形成腔体24,遮蔽板50位于腔体24内。然后将导电塑胶材料注入腔体24内,待冷却后,导电塑胶桥40包裹着遮蔽板50,同时导电塑胶桥的分支部42一一抵接在对应的接地端子34。
参图7所示,电连接器100中,遮蔽板50也可以先成型在导电塑胶桥40内。两排端子30先初步定位在导电塑胶桥40,然后绝缘体21再成型在导电塑胶桥40及端子30的外侧。遮蔽板50设置有多个冲压孔54,包括两排大孔541,一排小孔542,大孔在上下方向上对齐,小孔则偏移一定距离,方便导电塑胶材桥40成型在所述遮蔽板50上。额外增加的遮蔽板50,可以提供导电塑胶桥的抗信号干扰能力。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器,包括绝缘本体、两排端子、导电塑胶桥及遮蔽板,所述绝缘本体包括舌板及腔体,两排所述端子固定在所述绝缘本体且分别裸露在所述舌板的两个相对表面,每一排所述端子包括多个信号端子及多个接地端子,所述接地端子局部裸露在所述腔体;其特征在于:所述导电塑胶桥收容在所述腔体内且一一电性连接所述接地端子,所述遮蔽板埋设在所述导电塑胶桥内且位于两排所述端子之间。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述遮蔽板设有多个冲压孔。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述冲压孔包括两排大孔及一排小孔,所述大孔沿上下方向上对齐,所述小孔在偏移所述大孔。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述遮蔽板的下缘延伸出多个接脚部,所述接脚部延伸出所述腔体。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子包括平板状的接触部,接触部具有裸露在所述舌板表面的接触面,所述接地端子的相对接触面的背面则裸露在所述腔体内,所述信号端子的背面则埋设在所述绝缘本体内而未裸露於所述腔体;所述导电塑胶桥包括中间基部及自所述中间基部凸伸的多个分支部,所述分支部为上下延伸的凸肋结构,所述凸肋结构抵接在所述接地端子的背面。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导电塑胶桥的顶面与接地端子的上末端平齐。
7.一种电连接器的制造方法,所述制造方法包括:
步骤一:注塑成型第一端子模组及第二端子模组,每一端子模组包括绝缘体及一排端子;
步骤二:组装所述第一、第二端子模组及一个遮蔽板,组装后的第一、第二端子模组之间形成腔体,所述遮蔽板位于腔体内;
步骤三:向所述腔体内注入导电塑胶材料,所述导电塑胶包裹所述遮蔽板并一一抵接在每排所述端子中的接地端子。
8.如权利要求7所述的制造方法,其特征在于:在步骤二中,所述第一、第二模组彼此组装而形成所述腔体,所述遮蔽板再安装入所述腔体内。
9.如权利要求7所述的制造方法,其特征在于:在步骤二中,所述遮蔽板先组装在所述第一端子模组,然后第二端子模组再组装至所述第一端子模组。
10.一种电连接器的制造方法,所述制造方法包括:
步骤一:注塑成型一个导电塑胶桥,所述导电塑胶桥内埋设有遮蔽板;
步骤二:在所述导电塑胶桥的外侧注塑成型绝缘体,两排端子埋设在所述绝缘体内,所述导电塑胶桥一一抵接在每排所述端子中的接地端子。
