As the public attaches great importance to product appearance, hygiene and health, how to overcome the above-mentioned technical problems and defects has become a key problem to be solved. In view of this, there is an urgent need to develop polyolefin compositions with good antibacterial and anti-whitening properties to improve the aforementioned problems and defects.

The disclosure provides a polyolefin composition. The ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber includes ethylene-propylene rubber (ethylene propylene rubber; EPR), ethylene-propylene-diene rubber, ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (ethylene propylene diene-terpolymer; EPDM) or combinations thereof. But the present disclosure is not limited thereto, and other suitable ethylene propylene copolymer rubbers can also be used as the polyolefin elastomer of the present disclosure.

When the polyolefin composition contains polyolefin elastomer, when mixing polypropylene, polyolefin elastomer and calcined shell powder, since the polyolefin elastomer limits the crystal ball size of polypropylene during mixing, it can be The crystalline spherulites of the polyolefin substrate are refined, thereby improving the anti-whitening property of the polyolefin composition of the present disclosure.

The polyolefin substrate may further comprise a polyolefin other than polypropylene. In detail, in some embodiments, the polyolefin substrate further includes polyethylene, a copolymer of propylene and ethylene, butene, hexene, octene or a combination thereof, or a combination thereof. For example, preferably, the polyolefin substrate further includes a copolymer of propylene and ethylene. When the polyolefin substrate includes a copolymer formed of propylene and other olefinic compounds, the copolymerized segment formed by other olefinic compounds can be interspersed in the propylene polymerized segment, so that the formed polyolefin crystal The ball is smaller. When polyolefin is rubbed by hard objects, the stress tends to concentrate on the crystal ball interface, resulting in the difference in refractive index and whitening phenomenon. For this reason, the copolymer formed by adding other alkenyl compounds has better anti-whitening properties due to its smaller crystal spheres, so these copolymerized segments help to improve the anti-whitening properties of antibacterial and anti-whitening polyolefin compositions. When the polyolefin base material includes polyethylene, when mixing the polyolefin composition, because polyethylene limits the crystal spherulite size of polypropylene during mixing, it can refine the crystal spherulites of the polyolefin base material, thereby improving Anti-blushing properties of polyolefin compositions of the present disclosure.

In some embodiments, the calcination time is from 3 hours to 6 hours. In some embodiments, the shellfish shell is derived from a monovalve shell and/or a bivalve shell.

8000 cm 2/g。 In some embodiments, the calcined shell powder produced by the above steps has a core-shell structure, the core layer of the core-shell structure is micron-sized calcium oxide particles, and the shell layer of the core-shell structure is nanometer to submicron Calcium oxide particles, the average particle size of micron-sized calcium oxide particles is 7 μm to 500 μm, and the average particle size of nanometer-to-submicron-sized calcium oxide particles is not greater than 200 nm. In some embodiments, the nanoscale to submicron calcium oxide particles have an average particle diameter of 60 nm to 150 nm. In some embodiments, the calcined shell meal has a specific surface area of at least 8000 cm 2 /g.

The polyolefin composition of the present disclosure can be prepared into polyolefin plastic through kneading. Since the calcined shell powder containing calcium oxide is dispersed in the polyolefin substrate, a heterogeneous nucleation phenomenon occurs, resulting in an increase in the crystallization rate of the polyolefin substrate, and the crystal spherulites of the polyolefin substrate can be refined and crystallized. The boundaries between the balls tend to be blurred, and have a synergistic effect with the anti-whitening properties of polyolefin elastomers, copolymers of propylene and other olefinic compounds, and polyethylene, so that the anti-whitening properties of the polyolefin compositions of this disclosure can be improved. nature.

In the polyolefin composition of the present disclosure, based on 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin composition, when the content of calcined shell powder is less than 0.5 parts by weight, too little calcined shell powder cannot meet the antibacterial requirements, and It is difficult to effectively improve the antibacterial properties of polyolefin compositions. When the content of shell powder is greater than 10 parts by weight, although the antibacterial properties of the polyolefin substrate can be effectively improved, too much calcined shell powder tends to agglomerate during the mixing process and cannot be uniformly dispersed in the polyolefin substrate , thereby reducing the mechanical properties of the polyolefin composition. In some embodiments, the calcined shell powder is preferably 1 to 6 parts by weight.

In some embodiments, the polyolefin composition further includes a modified polyolefin, the modified polyolefin has a main chain structure and a side chain modifying group, wherein the main chain structure is polymerized by reactants, and the reactants include propylene, Ethylene, butene, hexene, octene or combinations thereof, side chain modification groups include maleic anhydride groups, maleic acid groups, acrylic acid groups, methacrylic acid groups, methyl methacrylate group, ethyl acrylate group, or a combination thereof. The present disclosure is not limited thereto, and other suitable alkenes can also be used as reactants of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the content of the modified polyolefin is 0.5 parts by weight to 20 parts by weight. In some embodiments, the content of the modified polyolefin is preferably 1 to 6 parts by weight.

Since the modified polyolefin can be mixed evenly with the polyolefin, and the side chain modifying group can attract the surface groups of the calcined shell powder, which helps to disperse the shell powder more evenly on the polyolefin substrate In order to improve the antibacterial and anti-whitening properties of the polyolefin composition. In some embodiments, the modified polyolefin comprises polypropylene grafted maleic anhydride (PP-g-MA). The polypropylene with maleic anhydride side chain modifying groups can bond the shell powder through the maleic anhydride group, and use the polypropylene segment to attract the polyolefin substrate, so that the shell powder can be further dispersed in polyolefin substrates. The polypropylene grafted with maleic anhydride groups can form a modified layer and cover the surface of the shell powder, so it can improve the dispersion of the shell powder on the polyolefin substrate.

In some embodiments, the graft ratio of the side chain modifying groups is 0.1% to 10%. When the grafting rate of the side chain modifying group is within the aforementioned range, an appropriate amount of the side chain modifying group can more effectively disperse the shell powder in the polyolefin substrate, and an appropriate amount of the side chain modifying The group can simultaneously take into account the anti-whitening properties and antibacterial properties of the obtained polyolefin composition.

In some embodiments, based on 100 parts by weight of the polyolefin composition, the content of the modified polyolefin is 0.5 to 20 parts by weight, and preferably 1 to 6 parts by weight. If the usage amount of the modified polyolefin is less than 0.5 parts by weight, the above-mentioned modified polyolefin has no obvious dispersing effect on the shell powder, and cannot effectively improve the antibacterial and anti-whitening effects of the polyolefin composition. If the content of the modified polyolefin is greater than 20 parts by weight, too much modified polyolefin will reduce the mechanical properties of the obtained polyolefin composition.

The evaluation method of the L value of the test piece is as follows: the antibacterial and anti-whitening polyolefin compositions of Examples 1 to 14 and Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 3 are passed through an injection machine (manufacturing company is FCS Precision Industry Co., Ltd., Model HT100) made a test piece with a length of 120mm, a width of 70mm, and a thickness of 2mm, and analyzed the brightness of the test piece with a colorimeter (manufactured by NIPPON DENSHOKU, model SA2000), which refers to the L value.

The evaluation method of anti-whitening property distinguishes two kinds of anti-impact whitening and anti-folding whitening. The evaluation method of anti-impact whitening is as follows: 2Kg weight is used to freely lower the test piece from a height of 500mm to impact a 2mm test piece, and the difference in L value before and after (ΔL) is obtained, which is the anti-impact whitening. good. The whitening evaluation method is as follows: bend the test piece, and obtain the difference in L value (ΔL) before and after, which is the whitening. Therefore, if the whitening ΔL is small, it means that the impact whitening is good.

The evaluation method of antibacterial properties is as follows: The evaluation method of the antibacterial properties of the antibacterial and anti-whitening polyolefin compositions of Examples 1 to 14 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 is as follows: the length 120 mm and the width 70 mm are obtained by the aforementioned injection mechanism. 1. A test piece with a thickness of 2 mm was cleaned with 75% alcohol according to the CNS 15823 method, and 0.4 mL of bacterial solution was inoculated into the test piece, then covered with a film and cultured in a petri dish for 24 hours. After the culture was completed, the test piece was rinsed with 10 mL of culture solution, and finally the difference in the number of colonies in the culture solution of the control group and the antibacterial test piece was compared.
