Abstract

本發明係一種利用彎折部使端子與接地片相接觸之訊號連接器,包括一絕緣座體、一第一端子組、一第二端子組及一接地片,其中,各該端子組係分別嵌設於該絕緣座體鄰近頂部及底部之位置,該接地片則設於該絕緣座體內對應於該等端子組間的位置,且該等端子組最外側分別為一接地端子,該訊號連接器之特徵在於:該接地片鄰近周緣之部位或各該接地端子之前端係分別設有一彎折部,各該彎折部能使對應之各該接地端子接觸該接地片,以形成電氣連接,形成更完整的屏蔽效果,有效避免該等端子組間高頻訊號的相互干擾。

Description

利用彎折部使端子與接地片相接觸之訊號連接器
本發明係一種利用彎折部使端子與接地片相接觸之訊號連接器,尤指在一接地片之周緣部位或接地端子之前端設有一彎折部,使該接地片能與接地端子形成電氣連接,進而提昇屏蔽效果之訊號連接器結構。
按,訊號連接器(Connector)泛指所有應用在電子訊號及電源上的連接元件及其附屬配件,是所有訊號的橋樑,其品質會對電流與訊號傳輸的可靠度產生影響,且亦與電子系統運作息息相關。隨著電子技術的日益發達,訊號連接器已成為各類電子裝置在進行資料傳輸及與其他週邊設備連接時不可或缺的配備。在眾多連接器的傳輸規格中,又以通用序列匯流排(Universal Serial Bus,以下簡稱USB)最為普及。
目前,USB規格已即將全面進入USB 3.1,且為了提昇傳輸速度、傳輸訊號類型及插拔便利性,業界尚進一步推出「Type-C連接器」,Type-C的連接器結構有一個重大的變化,即「構型上下對稱」,使用者將無須特別辨識出插頭的正反面,而可任意地插入對應的插座中,讓使用上更為直覺。然而,為了達成正反面皆可插接的功能,Type-C連接器內必須配置兩組相同的連接端子,此外,為了防止兩組端子上的訊號相互干擾,在連接器內部尚必須設置一接地片,以隔開兩組端子。
然而,在當前業界皆以「輕薄短小」為主流設計電子裝置的情勢下,USB 3.1之Type-C連接器的此一規格條件,將會對生產、組裝流程產生新的困難與挑戰。尤其,在結構縮減後,端子之間的距離勢必更為接近,致使前述接地片所提供的屏蔽效果並不夠完善,因此,如何針對連接器結構再做改良,即成為本發明在此亟欲解決的重要課題。
本發明之一目的,係提供一種利用彎折部使端子與接地片相接觸之訊號連接器,至少包括一絕緣座體、一第一端子組、一第二端子組及一接地片,其中,該第一端子組係嵌設於該絕緣座體上鄰近頂部之位置、該第二端子組係嵌設於該絕緣座體上鄰近底部之位置、該接地片則係嵌設於該絕緣座體內對應於該第一端子組及該第二端子組間的部位,該訊號連接器之特徵係在於:該第一端子組包括複數支第一端子,且位於最外側之二支第一端子為第一接地端子,該等第一接地端子之後端能分別被焊接至一電路板上之接地電路;該第二端子組包括複數支第二端子,且位於最外側之二支第二端子為第二接地端子,該等第二接地端子之後端亦能分別被焊接至該電路板上之接地電路;該接地片之周緣鄰近該第一接地端子及第二接地端子之位置分別設有一第一彎折部及一第二彎折部,各該彎折部能分別接觸至該第一接地端子及第二接地端子,形成電氣連接。如此,該第一端子組中的第一接地端子及該第二端子組中的第二接地端子,即能分別透過該等彎折部,與該接地片相電氣連接,且彼此亦相電氣連接,形成更完整的屏蔽效果,有效避免該等端子組間高頻訊號的相互干擾。
本發明之另一目的,係提供另一種利用彎折部使端子與接地 片相接觸之訊號連接器,至少包括一絕緣座體、一第一端子組、一第二端子組及一接地片,其中,該第一端子組係嵌設於該絕緣座體上鄰近頂部之位置、該第二端子組係嵌設於該絕緣座體上鄰近底部之位置、該接地片則係嵌設於該絕緣座體內對應於該第一端子組及該第二端子組間的部位,該訊號連接器之特徵在於:該第一端子組包括複數支第一端子,且位於最外側之二支第一端子為第一接地端子,該等第一接地端子之後端能分別被焊接至一電路板上之接地電路,其前端則朝該接地片的方向設有一第一彎折部,以與該接地片相電氣連接;該第二端子組包括複數支第二端子,且位於最外側之二支第二端子為第二接地端子,該等第二接地端子之後端亦能分別被焊接至該電路板上之接地電路,其前端則朝該接地片的方向設有一第二彎折部,以與該接地片相電氣連接。

本發明係一種利用彎折部使端子與接地片相接觸之訊號連 接器1,請參閱第1~3A圖所示,係本發明之第一較佳實施例,該訊號連接器1包括一外殼11、一絕緣座體12、一第一端子組13、一第二端子組14及一接地片15,其中,該外殼11之前端設有一插接口111,其內則設有一容置空間110;該絕緣座體12係定位於該容置空間110內;該第一端子組13係嵌設於該絕緣座體12上鄰近頂部之位置、該第二端子組14係嵌設於該絕緣座體12上鄰近底部之位置、該接地片15則係嵌設於該絕緣座體12內對應於該第一端子組13及該第二端子組14間的部位。
在本實施例中,該接地片15係透過射出成形製程,直接固設於該絕緣座體12中,且該絕緣座體12上鄰近頂部及底部之位置分別設有複數道端子槽120,以供嵌插該第一端子組13及第二端子組14,惟,在本發明之其他實施例中,業者亦能透過多次的射出成形製程,將該等第一端子組13及第二端子組14固定至該絕緣座體12,合先陳明。
復請參閱第1~3A圖所示,該第一端子組13包括複數支第一端子,該等第一端子係分別負責傳輸高頻訊號、偵測訊號、電源…等,其中,位於最外側之二支第一端子功能為接地,即第一接地端子131,該等第一接地端子131之後端能被焊接至一電路板上之接地電路。
同理,該第二端子組14包括複數支第一端子,且位於最外側之二支第二端子為第二接地端子141,該第二接地端子141之後端亦能被焊接至該電路板上之接地電路。該接地片15之周緣鄰近該第一接地端子131及第二接地端子141之位置分別設有一第一彎折部151及一第二彎折部152,各該彎折部151、152能分別接觸至該第一接地端子131及第二接地端子141,形成電氣連接。
如此,該第一端子組13中的第一接地端子131及該第二端子組14中的第二接地端子141,即能分別透過該等彎折部151、152,與該接地片15相電氣連接,且彼此亦相電氣連接,形成更完整的屏蔽效果,有效避免該等端子組13、14間高頻訊號的相互干擾。
復請參閱第3A~3B圖所示,在本實施例中,各該彎折部151、152係透過沖壓折彎方式形成,分別包括一弧形部151a、152a及一抵接部151b、152b,該弧形部151a、152a之一端係連接於該接地片15,且其中段部呈一弧狀轉折;該抵接部151b、152b係設於該弧形部151a、152a之另一端,且具有一抵接平面,該抵接平面能接觸至對應之第一接地端子131或第二接地端子141。
請參閱第4A及4B圖所示,係本發明之第二較佳實施例,其中,該訊號連接器1亦包括一外殼11、一絕緣座體12、一第一端子組13、一第二端子組14及一接地片15,由於絕緣座體12、第一端子組13、第二端子組14之結構與前述實施例相同,故在此及不再贅述。本實施例主要係改變彎折部之結構,各該彎折部151'、152'分別包括一弧形部151a'、152a'及一抵接部151b'、152b',該弧形部151a'、152a'之一端係連接於該接地片15,且其中段部呈一弧狀轉折;該抵接部151b'、152b'係設於該弧形部151a'、152a'之另一端,且一側面能抵靠至該接地片15上鄰近周緣之位置,其另一側面則能接觸至對應之第一接地端子131或第二接地端子141。此外,為提昇接觸穩定性,業者亦可透過雷射點焊,將該抵接部151b'、152b'焊接於對應之第一接地端子131或第二接地端子141上。
另,如前所述,在本發明之第一及第二實施例中,各該第一 端子組13及第二端子組14係分別嵌設於該絕緣座體12內之複數道端子槽120中,且該等第一接地端子131及第二接地端子141對應之端子槽120,其能連通至該接地片15,使接地片15上之彎折部151、152能伸入至該等端子槽120之底部。
又,各該彎折部151、152、151’、152’之位置係可設於該接地片15上鄰近前端的位置、亦可設於該接地片15上鄰近中段部的位置,皆能達成相同效果,此外,在前述實施例中,該第一彎折部151、151’及第二彎折部152、152’係分別設於相鄰部位,以能確保接地片15之結構強度的平衡。
請參閱第1及5圖所示,係本發明之第三較佳實施例,該訊號連接器亦包括一外殼11(如第1圖所示)、一絕緣座體22、一第一端子組23、一第二端子組24及一接地片25,其中,該第一端子組23係嵌設於該絕緣座體22上鄰近頂部之位置、該第二端子組24係嵌設於該絕緣座體22上鄰近底部之位置、該接地片25則係嵌設於該絕緣座體22內對應於該第一端子組23及該第二端子組24間的部位。
該第一端子組23包括複數支第一端子,且位於最外側之二支第一端子為第一接地端子231,該第一接地端子231之後端能被焊接至一電路板上之接地電路,其前端則朝該接地片25的方向設有一第一彎折部232,以與該接地片25相電氣連接,在該第三實施例中,該第一接地端子231之前端會呈180度反向彎折,即,第一接地端子231之前端會彎折朝向第一接地端子231的後方,以形成該第一彎折部232(如第5圖所示),令該第一彎折部232具有較大接觸面積,能電氣連接至該接地片25。
該第二端子組24包括複數支第二端子,且位於最外側之二支第二端子為第二接地端子241,該第二接地端子241之後端亦能被焊接至該電路板上之接地電路,其前端則朝該接地片25的方向設有一第二彎折部242,以與該接地片25相電氣連接,在該第三實施例中,該第二接地端子141之前端亦會呈180度反向彎折,即,第二接地端子241之前端會彎折朝向第二接地端子241的後方,以形成該第二彎折部242(如第5圖所示),令該第二接地端子241具有較大接觸面積,能電氣連接至該接地片25。
在該實施例中,各該第一端子組23及第二端子組24係分別嵌設於該絕緣座體22內之複數道端子槽220中,且該等端子槽220之底部能連通至該接地片25,使該等彎折部232、242能穿過該等端子槽220,接觸至該接地片25,惟,如前所述,該等端子組23、24亦可透過射出成形製程,固設至該絕緣座體22。此外,根據申請人之測試結果,當該訊號連接器1為水平式態樣(如第1、5圖所示)的情況下,僅有第一接地端子231的前端設有對應之第一彎折部232時,該第一接地端子231與接地片25仍能夠形成良好的屏蔽效果。
以上所述,僅為本發明知若干較佳實施例,惟,本發明之技術特徵並不侷限於此,凡相關技術領域之人士,在參酌本發明之技術內容後,所能輕易思及之等效變化,均應不脫離本發明之保護範疇。

Claims (12)

  1. 一種利用彎折部使端子與接地片相接觸之訊號連接器,至少包括一絕緣座體、一第一端子組、一第二端子組及一接地片,其中,該第一端子組係嵌設於該絕緣座體上鄰近頂部之位置、該第二端子組係嵌設於該絕緣座體上鄰近底部之位置、該接地片則係嵌設於該絕緣座體內對應於該第一端子組及該第二端子組間的部位,該訊號連接器之特徵係在於:該第一端子組包括複數支第一端子,且位於最外側之二支第一端子為第一接地端子,該等第一接地端子之後端能分別被焊接至一電路板上之接地電路;該第二端子組包括複數支第二端子,且位於最外側之二支第二端子為第二接地端子,該等第二接地端子之後端亦能分別被焊接至該電路板上之接地電路;及該接地片之周緣鄰近該第一接地端子及第二接地端子之位置分別設有一第一彎折部及一第二彎折部,各該彎折部能分別接觸至該第一接地端子及第二接地端子,形成電氣連接。
  2. 如請求項1所述之訊號連接器,其中,各該彎折部分別包括一弧形部及一抵接部,該弧形部之一端係連接於該接地片,且其中段部呈一弧狀轉折;該抵接部係設於該弧形部之另一端,且具有一抵接平面,該抵接平面能接觸至對應之第一接地端子或第二接地端子。
  3. 如請求項1所述之訊號連接器,其中,各該彎折部分別包括一弧形部及一抵接部,該弧形部之一端係連接於該接地片,且其中段部呈一弧狀轉折;該抵接部係設於該弧形部之另一端,且一側面能抵靠至該接地片上鄰近周緣之位置,其另一側面則能接觸至對應之第一接地端子或第二接地端子。
  4. 如請求項1、2或3所述之訊號連接器,其中,各該第一端子組及第二端子組係分別嵌設於該絕緣座體內之複數道端子槽中,且該等彎折部能伸入至該等端子槽之底部。
  5. 如請求項4所述之訊號連接器,其中,各該彎折部係設於該接地片上鄰近其前端的位置。
  6. 如請求項4所述之訊號連接器,其中,各該彎折部係設於該接地片上鄰近其中段部的位置。
  7. 一種利用彎折部使端子與接地片相接觸之訊號連接器,至少包括一絕緣座體、一第一端子組、一第二端子組及一接地片,其中,該第一端子組係嵌設於該絕緣座體上鄰近頂部之位置、該第二端子組係嵌設於該絕緣座體上鄰近底部之位置、該接地片則係嵌設於該絕緣座體內對應於該第一端子組及該第二端子組間的部位,該訊號連接器之特徵在於:該第一端子組包括複數支第一端子,且位於最外側之二支第一端子為第一接地端子,該等第一接地端子之後端能分別被焊接至一電路板上之接地電路,其前端則朝該接地片的方向設有一第一彎折部,以與該接地片相電氣連接。
  8. 如請求項7所述之訊號連接器,其中,該第二端子組包括複數支第二端子,且位於最外側之二支第二端子為第二接地端子,該等第二接地端子之後端亦能分別被焊接至該電路板上之接地電路,其前端則朝該接地片的方向設有一第二彎折部,以與該接地片相電氣連接。
  9. 如請求項8所述之訊號連接器,其中,各該第一端子組及第二端子組係分別嵌設於該絕緣座體內之複數道端子槽中,且該等端子槽之底部能連通至該接地片,使該等彎折部能穿過該等端子槽,接觸至該接地片。
  10. 如請求項9所述之訊號連接器,其中,該第一接地端子之前端會呈180 度反向彎折,以形成該第一彎折部。
  11. 如請求項10所述之訊號連接器,其中,該第二接地端子之前端會呈180度反向彎折,以形成該第二彎折部。
  12. 如請求項11所述之訊號連接器,其中,該訊號連接器為水平式態樣。
