Description

安裝螺釘
本發明關於一種無屑(chipless)螺紋成型安裝螺釘,尤其是關於一種用於安裝金屬片或類似產品之螺紋成型安裝螺釘。
欲安裝之產品為片狀金屬製品,像是型材、壁匣、隔熱板、屋頂薄鋼板及片狀金屬覆層。
對於將安裝螺釘方便且快速安裝的需求日益增加。這項需求尤其出現在屋頂薄鋼板的組裝人員或裝配人員,因為屋頂薄鋼板的裝設時間實質上取決於安裝螺釘的特性。惟,習知安裝螺釘在這方面確實有些問題存在。
從第一態樣來看,其提供一種安裝螺釘,包含:頭部,尖端部,尖端部具有從螺釘之桿部漸縮至尖端的錐形,且包含尖端部螺紋,尖端部螺紋延伸至尖端的最末端,安裝螺釘進一步包含:桿部,設於頭部與尖端部之 間,桿部包含桿部螺紋,其中,桿部螺紋之螺距較大於尖端部螺紋之螺距,且尖端部之螺紋根部呈截頭圓錐形。
藉此可以達成方便且快速安裝安裝螺釘。

圖1概略揭示一示範性安裝螺釘之側視圖,圖2係圖1所示安裝螺釘之細部概略側視圖,及圖3係圖1所示安裝螺釘之另一細部概略側視圖。
安裝螺釘1包含一頭部2、一尖端部3、及一配置於頭部2與尖端部3之間的桿部4。桿部4及尖端部3之長度通常在25mm至80mm範圍內。
頭部2包含六角形頭,但是在替代型式上,頭部2可包含例如內六角孔、梅花孔、十字頭或一字頭或習知的另一類型頭。
安裝螺釘1可以由任意習知螺釘材料製造,例如,以碳鋼作為基材之材料,像是SAE 1018或SAE 1022鋼,或不銹鋼或鋁。
螺釘1或其至少部分可包含一或多層塗料,例如漆料、抗腐蝕塗料、等等。
桿部4在此包含一桿部螺紋7,其延伸至頭部2。惟,應該注意的是,在螺紋7與頭部2之間設有一無螺紋部。
尖端部3具有一從桿部4漸縮至螺釘尖端5之漸縮形或錐形。尖端部3之螺紋根部具有截頭圓錐形,其錐角較佳在15°至20°範圍內選擇。截頭圓錐形之一優點在於螺釘1特別容易貫穿上下配置之至少兩金屬片。
尖端部3包含一尖端部螺紋6,其延伸至螺釘尖端5之最末端。尖端部螺紋6包含單螺紋或雙螺紋。在一實施例中,雙螺紋之尖端部螺紋6延伸至尖端部螺紋6。此實 施例之一優點在於鑽孔之初始階段可以加快並有助於螺釘鑽入金屬。
桿部螺紋7之螺距P1大於尖端部螺紋6之螺距P2。此實施例之一優點在於桿部螺紋在木材中之抓持可獲改善,因為螺紋之間並無較多空隙。再者,尖端部螺紋之細螺紋有助於鑽入金屬內並減小可能有的金屬屑尺寸。
根據一項概念,尖端部螺紋6之前緣到螺釘之軸向A之法線的角α2在45°至65°範圍內,且後緣角β2在10°至50°範圍內。
在一實施例中,前緣角α2是在55°至65°範圍內選擇,且後緣角β2是在5°至15°範圍內選擇。此實施例之一優點在於該角α2有助於鑽入金屬內且該角β2可改善尖端部在木材中之抓持。
因此,尖端部螺紋6的輪廓前緣8到螺釘之軸向A之法線的角α2較大於該輪廓後緣9的角β2且尖端部螺紋6之輪廓呈非對稱。
此實施例之一優點在於該角α2有助於鑽入金屬內且該角β2可改善尖端部在木材中之抓持。
再者,尖端部螺紋6之高度可以固定,如圖3中所示。根據一項概念,尖端部螺紋6之高度在0.2mm至0.5mm範圍內,較佳為0.2mm至0.3mm。在此範圍內之高度有助於螺紋鑽入金屬內。
或者,螺紋6之高度可以變化,在接近尖端5處較小,例如在0mm至1.0mm範圍內,較佳為從尖端5起0 mm至0.5mm,且在桿部4附近較大。此實施例之一優點在於尖端部螺紋6較容易製造。
桿部4包含一桿部螺紋7,其輪廓可呈對稱或非對稱。桿部4(包括螺紋7在內)之直徑例如在2.5mm至6.5mm範圍內。
桿部螺紋7之輪廓包含一前緣10及一後緣11。根據一項概念,前緣10到螺釘之軸向A之法線的角α1在25°至50°範圍內,且後緣角β1在10°至35°範圍內。
在一實施例中,角α1是在40°至50°範圍內選擇,且角β1是在10°至20°範圍內選擇。此實施例之一優點在於該角α1有助於鑽入金屬及/或堅硬木材內,而該角β1可改善桿部在木材中之抓持。
桿部螺紋7之高度典型上為固定。根據一項概念,該高度在1mm至3mm範圍內,典型上為0.8mm至1.0mm。
再者,兩連續螺紋之軸向A之距離(亦即,桿部螺紋7之螺距P1)是在1mm至3mm範圍內,較佳為1.2mm至2.2mm。上述桿部螺紋7之尺寸有助於螺釘鑽入金屬內及螺釘在木材中之抓持。
桿部螺紋7可包含一單螺紋或雙螺紋。
根據一項概念,尖端部螺紋6之輪廓相關於桿部螺紋7之輪廓,使得α1<α2。換句話說,桿部螺紋7之前緣10之角α1較小於尖端部螺紋6之前緣之角α2。此實施例之一優點在於尖端可輕易貫穿金屬且尖端部螺紋6之輪廓 有足夠強度可承受鑽入金屬的所產生之力。
根據一項概念,尖端部螺紋6延伸於漸縮形或錐形尖端部3上,但是未延伸於固定直徑之桿部4上。此優點在於貫穿金屬及抓持木材之平衡上尤其良好。根據一實施例,安裝螺釘1可包含一木刻,亦即17型螺紋切削尖端。此有助於鑽入堅硬木材內,例如納格斯(knags)或疊層板,及,特別是使用大直徑螺釘、出現碎木片的機會較低。
圖4係另一安裝螺釘之概略側視圖。螺釘1可包含尖端部螺紋6及桿部螺紋7,兩者有對稱輪廓。或者,尖端部螺紋6有本文內所述之非對稱輪廓,而桿部螺紋7有對稱輪廓,反之亦然。
根據一實施例,尖端部螺紋6之前緣角α2是在45°至50°範圍內選擇,且該尖端部螺紋6之後緣角β2是在45°至50°範圍內選擇。
在圖4所示之實施例中,尖端部螺紋6之角α2、β2兩者皆為48°。因此,尖端部螺紋6之輪廓呈對稱。此實施例之一優點在於製造螺釘1所用之工具(特別是螺釘切削工具)有較長壽命,因此降低螺釘1之製造成本。
根據一實施例,桿部螺紋7之前緣角α1是在25°至35°範圍內選擇,且後緣角β1是在25°至35°範圍內選擇。
在圖4所示之實施例中,桿部螺紋7之角α1、β1兩者皆為30°。因此,桿部螺紋7之輪廓呈對稱。
此實施例之一優點在於製造螺釘1所用之工具(特別是螺釘切削工具)有較長壽命,因此降低螺釘1之製造成本。
同樣在關於圖4所揭示及本文所述之實施例中,尖端部螺紋6可以僅延伸於漸縮形或錐形尖端部3上,但是未延伸於固定直徑之桿部4上。優點在於貫穿金屬及抓持木材之平衡上尤其良好。安裝螺釘1特別有利於將片狀金屬固定於木板條或托。安裝螺釘1亦有利於將片狀金屬製品固定於金屬元件。片狀金屬製品典型上例如屋頂薄鋼板、壁板或另一金屬製品。
本發明並不獨限於上述實施例,反而是在文後之申請專利範圍所界定的發明概念範圍內可達成許多變化。在本發明概念之範圍內,不同實施例及應用之特質可以結合或取代另一實施例及應用之特質。

Claims (15)

  1. 一種安裝螺釘(1),包含:頭部(2),尖端部(3),該尖端部(3)具有從該螺釘之桿部(4)漸縮至尖端(5)的錐形,且包含尖端部螺紋(6),該尖端部螺紋(6)延伸至該尖端(5)的最末端,該安裝螺釘(1)進一步包含:桿部(4),設於該頭部(2)與該尖端部(3)之間,該桿部(4)包含桿部螺紋(7),其中該桿部螺紋(7)之螺距(P1)較大於該尖端部螺紋(6)之螺距(P2),且該尖端部(3)之螺紋根部呈截頭圓錐形。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之安裝螺釘,其中,在該尖端部螺紋(6)之輪廓中,該前緣角(α2)是在45°至65°範圍內選擇,且該後緣角(β2)是在10°至50°範圍內選擇。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項之安裝螺釘,其中,該前緣角(α2)是在45°至50°範圍內選擇,且該後緣角(β2)是在45°至50°範圍內選擇。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第2項之安裝螺釘,其中,該前緣角(α2)是在55°至65°範圍內選擇,且該後緣角(β2)是在5°至15°範圍內選擇。
  5. 如申請專利範圍前述任一項之安裝螺釘,其中,在該尖端部螺紋(6)之輪廓中,該輪廓前緣到該螺釘之軸向(A)的角(α2)較大於該輪廓後緣的角(β2),該尖端部螺紋(6)之輪廓係呈非對稱。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1至4項任一項之安裝螺釘,其中,該尖端部螺紋(6)之高度為固定。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第1至4項任一項之安裝螺釘,其中,該尖端部(3)之該錐角(γ)為15°至20°。
