Abstract

一種透鏡,所述透鏡包括第一透鏡層及第二透鏡層,第二透鏡層覆蓋第一透鏡層,該第二透鏡層的折射率大於第一透鏡層的折射率,從而能夠使射入透鏡的光線更好的向透鏡的側部偏轉,降低正向光強、增強側向光強並擴大出光角度。本發明還涉及一種上述透鏡的製作方法。

Description

透鏡及其製作方法
本發明涉及光學領域,尤其涉及一種透鏡及其製作方法。
利用傳統光源的燈具其效果基本能滿足各個方面的需求,但是耗能太大,因此發光二極體(LED,Light Emitting Diode)作為新一代的光源具有逐漸取代傳統光源的趨勢。習知的顯示器的背光模組的光源逐漸由發光二極體取代。
習知的顯示器背光模組通常為直下式光源。直下式光源的優點在於使用較少數量的發光二極體,並採用透鏡覆蓋於發光二極體上,並進一步採用擴散板,從而使發光二極體發出的光線先經過透鏡進行第一次光學調整形成較為發散的光線,再射入擴散板進行進一步的擴散,從而得到更加均勻的出射光線。因此,如何設計出一款透鏡能夠使發光二極體發出的光線更好的向兩側發散是業界一直探求的課題。
有鑒於此,有必要提供一種能夠使發光二極體發出的光線更好的向兩側發散的透鏡及其製作方法。
一種透鏡,所述透鏡包括第一透鏡層及第二透鏡層,第二透鏡層覆蓋第一透鏡層,該第二透鏡層的折射率大於第一透鏡層的折射率。
一種上述的透鏡的製作方法,包括:
提供第一透鏡層及第二透鏡層,第二透鏡層覆蓋第一透鏡層,第二透鏡層的折射率大於第一透鏡層的折射率;
在第一透鏡層及第二透鏡層之間塗覆黏接層並將二者順序疊在一起;
固化黏接層形成透鏡。
本發明實施方式的透鏡由於採用至少兩折射率不同的透鏡層,當光線首先射入折射率較低的一透鏡層時,光線發生一次偏轉,當從折射率較低的一層進入折射率較高的一透鏡層時,光線再次發生偏轉,從而能夠更好的使光線向透鏡的側部偏轉,降低正向光強、增強側向光強並擴大出光角度。

請參閱圖1與圖2,本發明實施方式提供的透鏡10包括至少兩透鏡層,該至少兩透鏡層的折射率不同。在本實施方式中,透鏡10包括第一透鏡層11、第二透鏡層12和第三透鏡層13,其中第一透鏡層11位於透鏡10的最內層,第三透鏡層13位於透鏡10的最外層,第二透鏡層12位於第一透鏡層11和第三透鏡層13之間,即,第三透鏡層13覆蓋第二透鏡層12,第二透鏡層12覆蓋第一透鏡層11。
透鏡10整體呈半圓球形,第一透鏡層11也呈半圓形,第一透鏡層11的圓心與透鏡10的圓心重合。第一透鏡層11具有一第一半徑R1。第二透鏡層12具有一與第一透鏡層11貼合的內表面121和與第三透鏡層13貼合的外表面122。第二透鏡層12的內表面121和外表面122均為半圓球面,其中內表面121的半徑與第一透鏡層11的第一半徑大致相等,為R1;外表面的半徑為R2。第三透鏡層13具有一與第二透鏡層12的外表面122貼合的內表面131和位於透鏡10的最外層的外表面132,該外表面132即為透鏡10的外表面。第三透鏡層13的內表面131和外表面132也均為半圓球面,其中內表面131的半徑與第二透鏡層12的外表面的半徑相等,為R2,外表面132的半徑為R3,即為透鏡10的整體的半徑值。第一透鏡層11的半徑、第二透鏡層12的外徑及第三透鏡層13的外徑的比值優選為1:2:4。
第一透鏡層11、第二透鏡層12和第三透鏡層13分別採用不同的材料製成,其中第一透鏡層11的材料的折射率小於第二透鏡層12的材料的折射率,第二透鏡層12的材料的折射率小於第三透鏡層13的材料的折射率。在本實施方式中,各透鏡層是採用含苯環的單體材料聚合形成的含有不同數量的苯環的材料,由於各透鏡層所含有苯環數量不同,因此材料的折射率具有差異,如甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)為有機玻璃單體,採用該材料進行聚合從而制得具有不同折射率的塑膠材料。
各層透鏡層之間還包括黏接層14,該黏接層14是採用黏接劑以旋轉塗覆的方式塗覆在相鄰兩透鏡層之間,在本實施方式中,第一透鏡層11與第二透鏡層12、第二透鏡層12與第三透鏡層13之間的黏接層14的厚度為10奈米(nm)。該黏接層14塗覆後是採用紫外光照射的方式使其固化從而連接各層透鏡層。
光源設置於透鏡10的下方,當光源出射的光線射入透鏡10時,首先進入第一透鏡層11,在從第一透鏡層11進入第二透鏡層12時,由於第一透鏡層11的折射率小於第二透鏡層12的折射率,因此光線朝向透鏡10的側向偏轉;當光線從第二透鏡層12進入第三透鏡層13時,由於第二透鏡層12的折射率小於第三透鏡層13的折射率,因此光線進一步朝向透鏡10的側向偏轉,降低正向光強、增強側向光強並擴大出光角度。
請同時參閱圖3,本發明還提供一種該透鏡10的製作方法,包括以下步驟:
步驟一:提供第一透鏡層11及第二透鏡層12,第二透鏡層12覆蓋第一透鏡層11,第二透鏡層12的折射率大於第一透鏡層11的折射率;
步驟二:在第一透鏡層11及第二透鏡層12之間塗覆黏接層14並將二者順序疊在一起;
步驟三:固化黏接層14形成透鏡10。
在第一步驟中,還可以包括第三透鏡層13,該三透鏡層的圓心重合,其中第二透鏡層12中具有一形狀與第一透鏡層11相同的凹陷,第三透鏡層13中設有一形狀與第二透鏡層12相同的凹陷。各透鏡層可採用不同的模具採用熱壓成型的方式分別製作形成,其中第一透鏡層11、第二透鏡層12和第三透鏡層13採用不同的材料熱壓成型。
在第二步驟中,黏接層14的材料為黏接劑,塗覆的厚度為10奈米,該黏接劑是採用塗覆的方式塗覆在各透鏡層之間,並在第三步驟中採用紫外光照射的方式進行固化成型。
綜上所述,本發明確已符合發明專利之要件,遂依法提出專利申請。惟,以上所述者僅為本發明之較佳實施方式,自不能以此限製本案之申請專利範圍。舉凡熟悉本案技藝之人士援依本發明之精神所作之等效修飾或變化,皆應涵蓋於以下申請專利範圍內。

Claims (10)

  1. 一種透鏡,包括第一透鏡層及第二透鏡層,第二透鏡層覆蓋第一透鏡層,該第二透鏡層的折射率大於第一透鏡層的折射率。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的透鏡,其中,所述透鏡還包括第三透鏡層,第三透鏡層覆蓋第二透鏡層。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第2項所述的透鏡,其中,所述第一透鏡層呈半圓球形,第二透鏡層包括一與第一透鏡層貼合的內表面和與第三透鏡層貼合的外表面,該外表面為一半球面。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第3項所述的透鏡,其中,所述第三透鏡層包括一與第二透鏡層的外表面貼合的內表面和一位於透鏡外側的外表面,該第三透鏡層的外表面為一半球面。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第4項所述的透鏡,其中,所述第一透鏡層的半徑為第二透鏡層的外徑的1/2,為第三透鏡層的外徑的1/4。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的透鏡,其中,所述第一及第二透鏡層是採用含苯環的單體材料聚合形成的含有不同數量的苯環的材料。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述的透鏡,其中,所述第一及第二透鏡層之間還包括黏接層,所述黏接層的厚度為10奈米。
  8. 一種如申請專利範圍第1項至第7項中任意一項所述的透鏡的製作方法,包括:
    提供第一透鏡層及第二透鏡層,第二透鏡層覆蓋第一透鏡層,第二透鏡層的折射率大於第一透鏡層的折射率;
    在第一透鏡層及第二透鏡層之間塗覆黏接層並將二者順序疊在一起;
    固化黏接層形成透鏡。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述的透鏡的製作方法,其中,所述第一及第二透鏡層採用不同的材料熱壓成型製成。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第8項所述的透鏡的製作方法,其中,所述黏接層是採用黏接劑塗覆在第一及第二透鏡層之間,並在第三步驟中採用紫外光照射的方式固化成型。
