Abstract

An abrasive cutting tool has a body in the shape of a small diameter disk. The body has an outer diameter of not greater than about 100 centimeters, and an aspect ratio defined as a ratio of the outer diameter to an axial thickness of the body of at least about 10: 1. The tool includes an abrasive portion having a bond material comprising abrasive particles and a resin having a normalized heat soak modulus of at least about 1.05.
